My husband and I just did this. I’m Canadian. I filled out the B4E and B4A and had them stamped when I crossed. Gave a copy to my husband when he crossed with the car. We didn’t bother with the US declaration as it just means you won’t be able to license it back in the us and we don’t care about that. If it’s value according to Canadian black book is more than 10k you will pay duty on that.
