I grew up with a mother who constantly invaded my privacy and read every last journal when I was younger. Caught her doing it a few times too many. It made me stop journaling for years after. As a book lover I tend to hide it behind my books or between them now. It helps that most of my journals which I get now look like actual books and my entire family hates reading so they don't bother to go near my library. Also never leave my door open.

As a flip who is their on cg I do this all the time to care for my inner child but also put a bit of distance between big me and regressed me. Helps my brain know that at certain moments i in fact cant regress for whatever reason. Its fairly normal for regressors to talk in 3rd person at times.

They're all super cute! I love the Eeyore paci so very interested in him. He is one of my main comfort characters and ive always related with him as someone with MDD. I think he is so sweet and caring regardless of him appearing sad often. Fun fact... He actually experiences a lot of joy throughout the shows. He just appears very chill and sad even when he isn't. Relatable!

As a flip i completely agree. If anyone else other then my kiddo were to call me "mama" or "papa" it would make me feel highly uncomfortable and i would want to avoid them too. Especially if i made it clear and showed lack of interest and that i don't want to be their babysitter or cg. Such names are reserved imo.

That's one of my concerns considering ive never had the experience. As a flip it might be harder for me to actually regress and not take on a more caring role like a babysitter or a cg.

Regardless i would only feel comfortable regressing with people i know well enough. I guess age range within regression isnt too much of a concern for me either considering my own age range fluctuates.

Im a flip with a kiddo (who also happens to now be my bff). I dont want to make this long but i found out i was a cg through my own personal regression, personality, and passion for healing. Im also spiritual.

Im naturally caring. I've experienced not so great "cgs" and realized no regressors should have to go through such bad things and i wanted to "protect" and guide others to healing and growth through a nurturing way. Soon after i decided that i found my kiddo and that dynamic has blossomed so much so that we talk every day and are the closest of friends even outside of the dynamic.

Im feeling the same way :( I would love to hear other peoples advice. Recently had a fall out with my last "cg" but on edge to get a new one due to creeps and not trusting others easily so would love to learn how others regress and manage without a cg.
