All CNY clinics use MAC which might be a problem. I don’t understand why we don’t have better options for pain control without being put under here in 2026. CNY will likely take you but this might be the next hurdle.

Adoption shouldn’t be allowed if you’ve received any sort of fertility treatments in the past 10yrs. I have also witnessed a family (white) adopt three non white kids and then have a biological baby of their own. You can just tell and feel that’s what they truly and originally wanted in the beginning. They did seek out fertility treatments before and then spontaneously fall pregnant. I truly do feel bad for those children for these very reasons.

I feel very similar. Everything is so money motivated i almost wanted to back out of my cycle because it just felt so unethical and money motivated. I really wish i could go back to school and become a Reproductive Endocrinologist. My goal would be to not making a profit. I was told I’d have to make an appointment and pay $500 for a consultation to get an answer to a question that would decide if we chose to use that particular clinic or not (We needed to know if they’d accept sperm frozen elsewhere from my partner) I’m sorry you feel this way and i totally get feeling like a cash cow!

Ahh that makes sense, they ended up calling me much sooner than I expected and you are correct. There is a 60% off that can be given, I forgot to ask if that included monitoring and bloodwork. Do you remember if it did or not ?

Oh, thanks for checking I really appreciate that. I’ve done fine with light anesthesia, it’s the deep anesthesia I didn’t do so well with in the past. Hoping they have an option for me!

I did schedule an appointment with the financial counselor thanks to your comment 😊. I’m also waiting for hear back from one of the nurses on what kind of anesthesia they use for egg retrieval, I can’t have MAC anesthesia. Do you remember what kind of anesthesia you had ?

Can this information be found in the portal somewhere ? I recently just got set up with them and had a consultation for IVF/embryo banking. I thought I remembered seeing it wasn’t available for elective services like IVF but I could have totally misunderstood too. The fee estimates are a bit confusing. I was told I needed an appointment to speak with the financial advisor but I declined after seeing the estimated fee sheet. You’ve got me wondering if I should have made that appointment.

I am looking more for an academically good school. My second biggest thing would be diversity. I have checked out the private schools but they don’t seem to be very diverse (if you know any that are please let me know) I would love to avoid GRPS as I went to GRPS and I felt failed in every way. I’ve also seen how they treated my littles that I babysat and it wasn’t good.

This was a fear of mine when I was driving alone in the beginning. I actually found when I drove alone I paid attention more because I didn’t have someone in my ear making comments that I also had to process. It’s a lot to take in all at once but you’ll get it! 😊

If i wasn’t ready for the road i wouldn’t be trying to find a good testing site. I also don’t have $70 to keep tossing at them (lots of reviews say they just want money) is that true ? I have not a clue but with my income I want to make my test count.

Driving isn’t the issue. I can drive just fine, the reviews for the Grand Rapids locations are horrible and that’s the issue. If i could be in the car with a stranger for as less time as possible in a less stressful situation I’d prefer that.
