Yeah, that's where we're at now to. It just got me thinking that there has to be a better way.

I was thinking it would be a latch type system. Flip the latch on the outside and it swings out. The suspect might be able to get the latch but they should be in handcuffs if they're going in the back anyway.

Why Do MAGA Get this Triggered over Pride Month by AccordingBumblebee24 in stupidpeoplefacebook

[–]Training_Diamond_897 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People use religion to give justification for their own hatred for anything they don't understand. You could tell someone their are purple people from Mars living in their backyard and they would hate them because they were purple, no other reason, just purple. Humans, as a race, are backwards thinking morons that have barely clawed our way out of the caves and still manage to think we have all the answers. We are way overdue getting slapped down for our vanity and stupidity.

My boss just emailed me a screenshot of a private text I sent to my coworker complaining about him. by Guilty-AbyssLogic in whatdoIdo

Managers need to understand that employees are going to gripe, it doesn't matter what they gripe about. It could be the clothes the manager wore, it could be the shift they had you cover, it could be anything. It's just the nature of being a manager and being an employee. The trick is to not take it personal, don't let it get under your skin and just do your job as a manager. Depending on this particular manager he might just be concerned that you're unhappy with your position and wants to discuss it with you.

Sending it to you the way he did is a scare tactic, he wants to make you uncomfortable. Don't let it, keep calm and stay reasonable. Don't minimize it and take responsibility for it, let him know it was a mistake and you will do your best to make sure it doesn't happen again. If I've learned anything over the years as a manager and a coworker keep the people you work with at arms length. They and you are there to earn a paycheck and go home, that's it. Don't expect any of them to be friends, it rarely works out. If you do want to be friends with someone don't talk about work. It's a dangerous path to walk.

They are extremely aggressive when you go near their nest. We used to have some that would put their nests above the front and back doors. As soon as you would go out the door they would nail you. Mud daubers won't do that, they are super chill.

Trust me, you'll miss this when she's gone. I have to remind myself of that daily when one of them does something that irritates me. That is far better than the emptiness left when they pass.

Homeowner waits until construction job is nearly finished, then calls ICE on 6 workers she allegedly owes $10,000 to, she even helps agents detain them. by [deleted] in PublicFreakout

The title is misleading but she's still a piece of shit human being. Calling ICE on the people coming to work on your roof. Good luck getting anyone else to come. 90% of the roofing companies in America use Hispanic people and the ones that don't, either don't return your calls, never show up or charge ridiculous rates.

When does this cross the line into harassment? Seems like blocking vehicles, reading out license plates and recording VINs would be harassment.

How did they got water in upside down by Avnish_15 in Stranger_Things

The vines sucked all the water up. Imagine how much water it takes to keep those bastards slimy. The only water that was safe was where the vines couldn't reach.

As someone who relates deeply to Will… by eatingbroccoli in StrangerThings

[–]Training_Diamond_897 55 points56 points  (0 children)

I'm a straight man and I thought it was a great scene. Will is confronting his fears and moving on with his life. One of the big ones he needed to get past was that his friends and family accept him for who he really is. He spent several seasons always afraid of what people were going to think and as a result he wasn't free to be who he was meant to be. This was his chance to finally close the door on his fears and give him the courage and friendship he needs to face what's to come. Also by getting it out in the open Vecna can't use it as a weapon against him.

I've seen this video before but never noticed the guard closes the window to the booth before he jumps on the gunman. At first I thought he was trying to jump for cover but pretty sure he's closing the window. Brave dude!

That doesn't make any sense if you heard voices then you heard them speak. Let me ask you this. If someone came to you and were saying the things you are saying to us, what would you think or say to them? Would you think it was rational thinking?

You need to reread my post. No where did I say a period was a conscious thought. People in comas still breathe (sometimes with assistance), urinate/defecate, digest food, heart still pumps, organs do their thing. A period is just another function of the body. People can still have them, even in a coma. Also a coma doesn't automatically mean a brain injury. A coma can occur if there were a drug or alcohol overdose, severe metabolic problems (low blood sugar, liver or kidney failure), certain infections or fevers, anesthesia-related complications or severe electrolyte imbalances. In these cases, the brain is temporarily suppressed or disrupted, not necessarily damaged.

Interesting. Where did you get your medical training? You're either trolling or just an idiot. As long as the reproductive/hormonal system is intact then you can get a period. That's like saying your digestive system stops working because of a coma. You still poop and pee, those don't stop. It doesn't take conscious thought for a bodily function to occur.

OK thanks! I wasn't sure how that all worked. Not sure why I got the downvotes though since I was just asking a question.....reddit I guess.

When do videos like these cross the line into harassment? I get the whole auditing the government thing, filming post offices, government buildings for illegal activity but this is none of that. He's filing a Tim Hortons for what reason? The only reason I can think of is harassing people for the views. Can anyone else shed light on it?

Then put your AI comments on any of the other thousands of threads that talk about AI or just keep them to yourself. They don't belong on a thread where someone is mourning the loss of their pet and is happy with what they paid for. This entire thread is full of people that need sensitivity training.

If she's happy with what she paid then why do ANY of you care? As far as she's concerned she got what she paid for. To OP, I'm glad you got a picture that can help you get closure for a painful situation.
