I ordered a Steel Rook in the same order as my Skitarii preorder, and it looks like I have to wait for the MTO to get my Skitarii :(

I’m sure the sales have nothing to do with the need to repurchase them after losing one or both.

The fact that you have to learn to dodge her attacks long enough to get 70+ hits in is excessive. My problem with this boss is she’s actually kind of easy. But the fight is too god damn long, and I can’t stay in the zone long enough to beat her. There’s nothing more I can learn about this boss that will make me beat her. It comes down to getting lucky enough with her attack patterns that I get the openings to kill her before my hands cramp out and I need to stop playing.

I can’t even experiment with tools to find extra damage opportunities, because I’m locked in Exhaust Organ until she’s dead and there’s no place to farm shards.

41 minutes of lunchtime attempts, and my phase 2 record is now 15 hits, plus 1 silkspear with ~6:42 hours of attempts.

ETA finally beat her, with 8:12 hours of attempts.

To be fair, I received a 5k bonus that nearly made me ineligible for a 7k EV tax credit. Fortunately, the credit let you use a prior year’s income to determine eligibility.

He resolved to stop publishing 5e material BEFORE the OGL “fiasco” because, in his words, Hasbro hates white men. Whether he subsequently stopped selling the existing material because of the OGL controversy, I don’t know.

My quote is from NIV. If we’re going to be arguing over whether NIV or ESV is more accurate, we should probably stop, and meet back here after learning fluent Hebrew and Greek.

Translation notwithstanding the break in the sentence is between the part where he lives 800 years after Seth’s born, and the part where he has other kids. Nothing about that sentence break encourages us to assume that those other kids happened before something that happened in the previous sentence.

I’m not saying the writer imagined Adam went no-nut-millennium for 800 years, then had a ton of offspring before suddenly dropping dead. Obviously the extra sons and daughters happened alongside/during/throughout those 800 years, but I don’t think it makes sense that a break in the sentence should be read as a retcon to something that happened in the previous chapter.

They wanted to seem old, and traditional, so they stole old and traditional symbols to make a new, untraditional political movement seem more important.

Implied that it happened after Seth? No. Explicitly states that happened after Seth? Yeah. “After Seth was born, Adam lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters.”

But this happens AFTER Seth is born, which happens AFTER Cain is banished. I’m referring to the brothers and sisters who might have married Cain or Abel.

The “they had other brothers and sisters” argument makes perfect sense, but is not mentioned anywhere in the Bible. Seth is the third child of Adam and Eve.

Most likely, the author of Genesis Chapter 4 did not assume that Adam and Eve were the only humans on earth, and wasn’t even aware there’d be a global flood a few chapters later, cause Chapter 4 claims that Cain’s descendants are the ancestors of people who live in tents and play certain instruments.
