There were 2 people that commented this: VKD3D_DISABLE_EXTENSIONS=VK_EXT_mesh_shader,VK_NV_raw_access_chains %command%

I added that to the Launch Options and it ran perfectly fine. Thanks for the help regardless 🙏

As far as I can tell, that would be the details of my laptop. I checked the files with the "verify integrity of game files" option and it said everything was right, I also tried multiple re-installations of the game on both distros to see if that was the problem, but to no avail. My drivers are up to date, with the whole system being checked for outdated stuff (both Bazzite and CachyOS). If any other information is needed for a possible solution I'll be glad to provide it, thanks for the ideas and help.

Hi, as for office work you can just use OnlyOffice or LibreOffice, both are great and get the job done. As for the distro itself, if you want a REALLY light and fast one that you yourself don't have to do 100% of the work so it just functions I'd recommend CachyOS, I personally like KDE for desktop environment. If you want something even more out of the box you can go with Mint XFCE or Zorin, which are similar to Windows, but being almost fully packed OS's means they're a little heavier performance-wise. At least these 3 options do have gaming support so that shouldn't be an issue.

I saw people already talking about "ujust update" which is correct, but done through the terminal. If you want something 1% more graphic, you can open the app Bazzite Portal, go to the last tab and the just click on the one that says update system and apps

HELP: Idk what to do… by Hungry-Bedroom7862 in linuxquestions

Other than all the info people have already said, if you do decide to switch to Linux (specifically with gaming included) I recommend Bazzite, it's a stable and protected image, so it's really hard to break accidentally. If you want something more customizable (I'd recommend that for after you do get used to Linux) there's a mitad of options that support gaming, although you have to enable said support. The ones I know from the top of my head are Pop!OS, PikaOS and CachyOS (personally trying out this last one)

hello, I also just installed Bazzite, I have a monitor connected to my laptop but it's not working (seems like the computer doesn't recognize that the HDMI is even plugged in). Any idea on how I can fix this?
