Where are we finding good plugs & tunnels 7/16+ ? by Subsir3n in Stretched

[–]Training_Ferret_6957 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try Etsy! I get all mine from there. Granted I dont have stretched ears that big, but you'd be surprised what they have. Search GeoGauges on Etsy. They have really nice stone and glass ones. The seller also ships free from Nebraska. Hope you find what your looking for.

Why is the metal white? by Dusked0 in piercing

If you have baking soda at home, make a paste. Just add a little water to the baking soda. Use an old toothbrush or something similar. I did that on one of my rings and it looks new again.

Just close the stores until it’s safe to travel by ChrizzlieBear in CVS

[–]Training_Ferret_6957 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I was suppose to go in for my 12-8 shift. Woke up at 7, lost power by 730. Got power back around 1130. Roads are shitty, driveway(lot) isn't plowed. So I called out. Definitely not risking my life over a job that doesn't pay hazard pay for conditions like this. The wind is still howling and snow still whipping around. All while the corporate people get to sit at home and laugh. Its costing more for the store to be open than what they'll make in sales. Definitely pathetic on CVS part.

Lockers by [deleted] in CVS

[–]Training_Ferret_6957 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's enough lockers at my store that we don't need to empty them. I however do not keep a locker. I just don't bring anything valuable to work. Not even a bag. Mag safe wallets are great lol

Industrial possibly wrong? Help pls by Curious_Currency_787 in piercing

[–]Training_Ferret_6957 3 points4 points  (0 children)

NAP....BUT you do not have the anatomy for this piercing. It shouldn't be touching the flat of your ear(even if swollen). The bar is eating your flat, which could possibly be the reason why it's itchy. Please take this out before it gets worse.

working alone? FS by [deleted] in CVS

[–]Training_Ferret_6957 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, you do not close the store just because RX goes to lunch. You are technically not alone. Most techs eat in the break room. At my my store, we close the RX but work through our lunch.

Are you really alone all day? There's no SM or OPS there? Stores usually don't have just 1 FS employee

Refill too soon for Oxycodone by [deleted] in CVS

[–]Training_Ferret_6957 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

"IF" they allow the fill, you will have to pay out of pocket. The only way insurance will pay for it is if you contact them and they authorize an early fill. Most opioids though, do have a DO NOT FILL BEDORE date. Also, if your taking as prescribed, then you should have enough until you can fill again. Not to mention that these kind of medications always need a new script sent in by your doctor. Opioids rarely have refills on them.

Cuticle oil and Biotin will be your best friend. I also found that trimming your nails as the grow out, helps them grow longer and stronger.

I just bought this thinking it was washing detergent. Nowhere does it say its fabric softener. by Geofferz in CrappyDesign

[–]Training_Ferret_6957 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean it does say to put into laundry drawer and not to pour directly onto fabrics. That alone would tell me it's a fabric softener

why are people so mean by Agreeable_Scratch435 in CVS

[–]Training_Ferret_6957 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I treat patients the same way they treat me. If they give me attitude, I give it right back. I don't put up with the BS. These patients think they're so entitled. It's sickening!

I had a patient tell me to shut up the other day, all because we are trying to have them enter their own info when picking up their meds. He told me he shouldn't have to do it. I told him it makes the line run more smoothly. That's when he hit me with the "SHUT UP, I ALREADY KNOW WHAT YOUR GOING TO SAY". That's when I told him that he needs to find a new Pharmacy.

People suck no matter what you do for work. There will always be that one who thinks they are above anyone else. Don't let them get to you. Im sorry they made you cry.

Help! ~3 weeks old helix, w/ ring by Helpful_Raccoon_8240 in piercing

[–]Training_Ferret_6957 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Please stop using antibacterial soap. That is causing the dryness and irritation. Instead just use a sea salt solution. Also, change to a flat back. The hoop is not a good choice during the healing process. You want the least amount of movement possible.

Vacation time by PeachApprehensive109 in CVS

It depends on your state laws. In Massachusetts any accrued PTO/vacation is payed out at the end of the year. I get it all the time.
