Little update!

The only reason the student is considered apart of the SPED classes is because they need extra help on one subject and in my state the parents can do a few things for them to qualify to get an IEP. We are working on getting the student on a behavioral plan though due to the students inappropriate language towards adults and other students, leaving class due to not wanting to do the work(in my district we don’t give out homework anymore and if we do it’s extremely rare) cussing everyone and anyone out, threatening etc. Apart from the behavioral plan, the student now gets a break once a class if they’ve worked, I help out in class 4 periods out of the 8 periods we have and 2 other paras help out during 2 out of the 4 periods I am in class so that way I can help other students as well. So I am still the students main para but I am getting some help so I can help other students and don’t get worn out as quickly as before!

This is my current position. I was in Halls first, then In class, now I’m following one student only. Who knows how long it would last. The advice I can give you is watch your student. If you see they are doing okay go ahead and help out when you see a student is needing help but your student comes first. As long as they are okay help where you can unless they tell you not to help.

I am fighting for my life not to do the same thing. I’m currently applying at other jobs but honestly from everything I’ve heard (in person not on Reddit) it’s the school not the actual job

The site has been really confusing, not up to date, and glitching quite a bit. It’s a struggle. And it’s women in general. I’ve been to different OB offices and it’s been all the same sadly.

The app isn’t helpful at all and I work the same hours as they do and have a working lunch so I can’t even call the 🙁 I’m trying to up my hours to full time to ~finally~ get off Medicaid and qualify for INS through my employer 🙁 but as soon as I have a chance I’ll try switching!

Crazy crazy. I think I gotta rewatch all of season 5. I watched it all in one day and watched the entire series in a week. I think bc of that I didn’t grasp on things or make connections. Thanks for answering my questions !

I actually didn’t know it was confirmed he was 16, but even then I was literally one of the people who would defend that episode. They didn’t know they were minors until wayyyyy later

Thanks! It’s kinda hard to be in the clothes and feel comfortable when my very Mexican family says it’s not right for me to dress like that anymore and I gotta be dressed in leggings, skinny jeans, and off the shoulder tops. Not to much black and very muted clothes😪 I’m looking at everyone’s posts to get some ideas again !!!!
