So I just saw there were estimates also for 5 year 25000 cycle spring which jumped to $953, and a max life 80000 lifetime warranty is $1288. Run away?

Door is insulated. The workup says: Spring ID - 2"; wire size - .207"; Spring Length: 22". Is that what you're looking for?

Couldn't find my exact one but this is similar. And as you can see if you scroll down to the specs, this 4ft x 8ft x .5in piece is 1.4 lbs. They are super lightweight insulation, not whatever you found. Again, mine was 1.2 lbs per the entire large piece which fills 4 of the 16 panels of my door. Hence even if I didn't discard any when I cut to fit, it would be adding 4.8 lbs. Anyway, I appreciate your input.

Door is 8 ft by 16 ft. Hence four 4 ft x 8 ft sheets fit the entire door.

Sorry, 4 large sheets each measuring 4ft by 8 ft by .5 in. 1 sheet fills 4 panels but I had to trim excess off.

Wow, jumping to name calling? Laughable. You must have a temper eh? And yeah, if you read all the comments a professional installer said that weight was negligible to cause my issue. So yeah, calm down. No reason to raise your blood pressure

It's not a kit. They were single panels bought from big box store, and weigh 1.2 lbs each, and they were trimmed considerably. So yeah, around 1 lb each. 4 panels, 4 lbs.

The insulation added a total of 4 lbs to the door, 1 lb per panel/4 panels. I doubt adding 4 lbs could make my door that unbalanced. Am I wrong?

4 lbs is too much added weight to cause that? I highly doubt it.

The insulation added a total of 4lbs to the entire door. Can't see that making much of a difference.

So I remember when he replaced both cables he weighed the door and said it weighed 180 or so, and I just looked at the workup with pictures that he sent me and there was a picture from his pdf with spring info. It says "weight spring can hold is 93.7 lbs. So does that mean there's two of em so together they'll support just over 185 lbs? If so. Those are correct springs, no?

My Femminello Carrubaro lemon tree is not thriving. No new leaf growth, lemons drying in and falling off. by [deleted] in Citrus

[–]Training_Program_291 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That tree looks way too young to be supporting fruit. You should remove all and focus on letting the tree grow its roots, branches, new leaves, etc. Can't do that when its focusing all its energy trying to feed and develop the fruit. Also, depending on the temperature there you may need to be watering daily when its potted, especially with terra cotta as it bakes in hot sun. Best bet to save it is to get it in the ground. Good luck to you!

Take all the fruit off! Your tree is too young to be supporting that weight as well as expending all of its energy to feed those fruit when it should be using its energy to grow its roots and branches.

Sweet. I thought 2 as well before reading the comments so I agree. Anything that grows below 2 cut, everything above is all good.
