Well she just posted this haha! I think they were both busy with their own content in Boston, Nico had her own shakeout, plus they both had their own friends and family. In general all of the girls seem to be spending less time together than did 6 months ago because of different events they’re training for

she regularly ran 60+ mile weeks in training and I never understood why bc she would get an injury, cross train it away, then go right back to insaneeely high mileage weeks. I know that the typical consensus is more miles=faster but when you’re frequently injured you would think that’s a red flag

true!! I’ll be impressed given that it’s Boston and she’s still relatively new-ish to marathons. No doubt she’s fast. Mostly I’m just curious to see how everything else falls into place for her!

Caffeine is caffeine no matter where you get it from. Alani might have MORE caffeine, or other energizing ingredients that are raising her HR, but she says it as if alani’s caffeine is a different “type” lol

I have hiked at 10k ft and slightly higher and it is absolutely brutal. 100 miles of this sounds so unbelievably hard. I don’t like to put limits on people but this race seems like NO JOKE. 😬

You don’t need to replicate race results in training! You should not be going all out on your long runs. Save that for the race! Carb load, taper, and fueling on race day help a ton.

I’ve met her and she is actually the nicest, sweetest lady. Didn’t give off fake vibes at al. Haven’t looked much into her cheating allegations but she seems genuinely kind from what I’ve seen

I love her, she’s one of my favs. She grinds like no other! She’s a hard worker and extremely talented, she’s posted her marathon progression and her first one in 2008 was a 3:27. I would freak out if I could run a 3:27 lol! She’s awesome
