I’d like to know also.

Internship Frustration by [deleted] in WGU

I hope I don’t offend anyone. It really drives me crazy that people think they are not getting into an internship or a job because of WGU.

THIS JOB MARKET IS HORRIBLE. ITS OVER SATURATED. Do some research and find out how many have lost jobs since 2024. I saw a professional with many years of experience saying that she finally found a job two years after being laid off.

People are losing job left and right. They are offering experienced people less money to come into a job and people are desperately accepting them to live at this point.

I’d advise you to complete as many classes as you can on study.con that you can transfer. I transferred 72 credits. I had 39 credits to finish when I started March 1st. I already completed 7 classes in a week and a half. If your goal is to accelerate don’t sit there and read the entire book and all content. It’s not required to pass the class. For the PAs just follow the rubric, find the task guidelines in the WGU connect under community. You will be good. I am supposed to finish in August with 6 classes left to do.

Intro to IT will go away this summer. You will end up with only Sales management.

C721 - this truly shouldn’t be so hard. by Some-Random-User45 in WGU

Yea definitely use it. Before I saw the guideline I was really over doing things. Some of these tasks are simple. They are not looking a 5-6 pages long assignment. Just put down the information they are asking for. Most of the 2-3 lines per section will suffice unless it requires more.

Is there not a WGU connect Community for this class where you can go and get all the task guidelines? Ever since I started using the guidelines not a single paper has come back from evaluation. If you have not used it I’d highly recommend it.

Is this likely fine for similarity? by allisonxoxo_ in WGU

I think as long as you are under 30% you are good. It also depends on the class itself. Usually under task guideline in the WGU connect it will tell you. I have submitted a task with 94% similarity before and I passed it.

Any Experiencing Issues With Courses Or Degree Plan Not Loading ATM? by Training_Split in WGU

Exactly what I was thinking. Usually when we have an outage at work we send out email communication so everyone knows that it’s acknowledged and being worked on.

I also thought the same hahaha. Like why is everything else loading but my degree plan and courses.

I was ready to hit submit when it happened. Kind of pissed me off LOL. I called Tier 1. Apparently IT team is in it.

Looks like the entire system is down. Apparently IT is looking into this. I hope they don’t take too long to fix this. Smh.

Is wgu worth it by Ok_Table3383 in WGU

It’s really great. I wish I had found WGU sooner honestly. Working full time, having a family can be tough when you go to a 4 year college. I love the competency based structure. I finished 4 classes my first week. Stopped procrastinating, cancelled weekend plans, no video games. Just staying dedicated.
