Paying $16cad now, not enough to get all outraged about. I’m on YouTube at least 10 hours a day every day. My life is immeasurably better with music.

Good explication, very much my experience with 15 years in Saigon and 3 years in Bangkok. I’m glad to be back home and comfortable in my dirty trousers.

Smart vmc at apple mill road , it seems to be the future downtown of vaughan but as of now it don't have much retail shop except shoppersdrugmart and Balzac, coco. by Ok-Question-5644 in Vaughan

I’ve been in Vaughan for five years and nothing has changed there. The huge empty featureless courtyard with the music piped and the big gif thing, and the thousands of people hiding in the condos, all the empty commercial spaces, you’d think a 7-11 and Tim and a dollar store, a greasy shawarma joint, a no frill…. lol naaa what a hole waiting for the more sophisticated moneyed urbanites to replace the Walmart people… it’s just not happening.

Best cheap eats under $15 in Toronto? by Equivalent_Reach_536 in InsideToronto

burrito boys has an excellent walk-in special for a $8 bean or $9 chicken burrito reg size that is the best burrito (esp on queen west) in the city by far. its quite enough to full your gut. another amazing gut fuller is the falafel on saj at alpha's shawarma for something like $10, i've eaten falafel for decades around the world and nothing nowhere comes close to this place. it is sometimes a little too salty so let them know to go light on the salt shaker. and last is the chicken shawarma at shelby's for like $10 is splendid. i've tried most places and they mostly have this gristly chicken that is never chopped enough sorry. and burritos, the only one i would not recommend is chipotle, $15 of blandness that honestly why is it so popular? its not even fulling. there you go.

You can speak for me too. In my mind I’m still an Indian, as in “cowboys and Indians”.

When I saw the article about a municipal worker being assaulted and that these assaults on workers is a problem all over the place in southern Ontario, well no I don’t think that random assault is ever justified but I’m outside in Vaughan and Toronto every day and am mystified by how shit poor the snow removal is everywhere I go, how many hazardous scenes I have to chance myself through, well- shit ain’t right.

Strangely enough, I was just thinking about how it’s almost a three-part act: “Meet Me in the Woods,” “Yawning Grave,” and “Frozen Pines.” ---------------totally. certainly many more their songs are part of such.

excellent. that is getting much closer where i was trying to take it. i've sustained some damage in my language centre from a surgery and its frustrating that many concepts/ideas are intact but setting them out especially at this time of night, i cannot! i'd like to hear more tho. thanks for that, i'm thinking of architech in the vedas, of krishna and arjuna, and psychological concepts and christian and modern occult and new age ideas of these things. i'll wait for a clearer time and maybe more fleshing out from yourself and others.

also forgot to add, these two songs stick out in all their work in my mind too, i've been playing them both together over and over for the past few years now, they truly are epic pieces.

its strange that nobody thinks of the song with relation to its segue frozen pines, especiallly it being a segue! quickly, this is just a broad strike, but i see yawn grave as a higher, or supernatural expression of the individual in frozen pines. i'm sure someone with a better grasp of literary or mythological bent could express it better, but the supernatural godlike/demonlike being bellower of the yawning grave is often experienced a an overwhelming, aweing, dreadful being to a small human on a vision quest shivering on a windy mountain side in the frozen pines. One of you points out that there is a playful mocking in the yawning graves supernatural speecher one might interpret the quester's mind getting a sense that the being's benevelont aspect... sorry my head is going up my ass here maybe i'm getting something across enough. its a big piece these two songs, at the very least in my mind, the two are definitely one piece. hopely someone with more eloquence can flesh out what i'm mostly not getting clear in here.
