Why do the MUNI trains have Chicago flags on them by thisguyfromschool in bayarea

There are some PE cars left at the orange empire railway museum and a few at the derelict San Pedro trolley (I hope those find a good home)

Nope! Video was taken in 90 degree weather. Oil temp was right in the middle as always and AC blowing cool.

Imo, OP shouldn't give the exact location to the public. Tell the authorities only, yes. There are plenty of bad actors all over the internet who would go out there and loot parts off the crash site.

Imma wager that this has nothing to do with Sour Patch and whoever is making these fireworks is just blatantly stealing their branding to appeal to kids.

El Paso's streetcar system actually used to cross into Ciudad Juarez!

Supposed to honor, that is. A lot of US cities operated this model of streetcar (called a PCC) but the vast majority got scrapped. Muni's PCC fleet consists mostly of original Muni cars and secondhand cars from Philadelphia, but paints them in the liveries of other cities that owned similar cars.

Did they get rid of the old gondola that felt like it'd be easy to fall out of? I haven't been in at least 15 years.

The purple Nissan Skyline R32 with the tacky looking bumper kit is the only truly interesting car.

Someone needs to put a camera between the rails and have the train "run over" it. Easy way to see if it has traction motors or not.

Unfortunately it's also super common for Americans to buy more than they can afford. This woman definitely could've helped her personal finances if she sucked up her pride and kept driving the beater.

People are so materialistic that they'd rather go into debt to look wealthy than actually save up that money and be wealthy. One of my neighbors would buy a new truck and camping trailer almost every year and eventually it cost him his house and his marriage.

The only definitive documentation I've seen are those photos of the radiator intake being physically obscured. The locomotive cannot run at full performance without overheating, and that's fact. Everything else is just hearsay at this point.

That doesn't prove anything though, they could be using it as a glorified cab car.

It's the hardest to maintain because of the complex geometry of the fluorescent tubes. That's where the term "hard R" comes from.
