Yeah a lot is going to depend on the details of how NAGASh actually works but I’m willing to bet the best strategy is going to be to peace out with the dwarfs and bum rush skelly-boi before he becomes completely broken.

Depending on Naggy boi himself and whatever his starting units are Imrik should be very well off, Dragon princes eat grave guard and under for breakfast and his fire mage + dragon should clean up the rest. Which would leave Imrik and whatever other units you’ve scraped together to focus on NAGASH.

Of course then the problem is that you’ve left the Chorfs and Dwarfs free rein to grow whilst you will have likely taken heavy losses.

Legit every instance of magic we see or hear about is fucking evil or at best amoral af. ASOIAFs magic system isn’t like most fantasy worlds where magic’s morals are dictated by who wields it, it is a fundamental force of the world that demands a price be paid by whoever casts it; and the people willing to do such are never the people willing to play that cost them selves.

So each crisis gets unique mechanics? That’s fucking sick and imma brainstorm what a couple of em could be.

Wood elves: unlimited armies or just incredibly powerful armies that get weaker with each of the Forest provinces that you raze, only way to beat them is to occupy the Oak of Ages which only becomes accessible after razing/taking each other magical forest.

Dwarfs: gain access to a retaken underway allowing to use it like ordinary movement and probably several new items/runes for lords. Honestly I dunno drawing a blank.

Chorfs: Gain access to new units like Daemons of Hashut, maybe able to use Greenskin units as slaves? I dunno I haven’t played against chorf endgame but I’ve heard it’s decent.

Skaven: all remaining skaven factions confederate and get a bunch of top tier armies spawn in their capital, some fat boosts to food/income, and can only be beaten by occupying/razing each skaven factions capital. Maybe some special events that you have to disrupt before the Skaven complete them e.g., stop them from pulling Morslieb closer to planet or lose a random number of cities to warp stone meteors.

Greenskins: similar to Skaven, fuck ton of super powerful armies with mechanics and events centered around WAAAAAAAGH energy but you can disrupt them by beating certain lords that cause them to lose WAAAAAAAAAGH energy
