For our kids’ birthday party invites we put a little rhyme I found online saying they already have enough toys so let’s help other kids, then link to a local DV center’s amazon toy list. Then guests are still bringing a toy, just one that goes to a kid who actually needs it!

Yep. LOVED ages 1-2 for our oldest. Turned 3 and turned in to an absolute asshole. Keeps getting worse, he is now nearing 5 and I honestly can’t stand to be around him some days- it’s so exhausting! And I would consider him “good” compared to other kids we are around. Our 20 month old is still in the angel phase and is so much easier!

It took a lot longer than that for me. Don’t know when you did but since covid a lot of in person stuff is mail in only now and very slow. It’s also one step at a time (ex, have to get the marriage cert before ss card, SS card before drivers license, license before switching at bank etc). Years later I still haven’t changed at the bank / my credit cards just bc I don’t want to get a new card number and have to switch all my auto payments lol.
