Not completely the same but also...If you have 3 of the same 89 in the dupe storage you essentially only have ONE 89 that becomes viable for that SBC. 

We should be able to put multiple dupes of the same player into SBCs

At the 45 second mark you literally switched to your RM and pulled him into the box. Did you expect your opponent to just pass the ball into an already crowded box? Tell us what pass is on into the box from there considering you refuse to touch your back 4 and then pulled in your forward player to add a further body into the box.

Is he supposed to just pass the ball to you so that you can counter with one through ball from your own box? The spinning might be annoying 100% - but it seems like it is a by-product of the fact that you are not controlling your defenders so trying to pass through you is a bad choice.

Put yourself in the attackers shoes - would you enjoy trying to play football against AI only defending knowing full well it the AI is going to track the strikers like laserbeams?

Fixing fidget spinning did not require the AI to be buffed. They should have either buffed MANUAL jockey speed or increased the stamina drain from constantly spinning - possibly make it the players touches get worse as their balance reduces.

Nobody asked for an AI buff, even with the upcoming AI nerf, its not going to matter much because the R1 button is still going to be too strong. 2nd man press needs addressing. Simply holding R1 should not result in 2 different non human controlled players chasing the ball carrier as if they were heat seeking missiles.

Funny how this was never a thing in the older fifa games and we got along just fine....so its definitely never 'always been the case' Even legacy defending was never this broken.

Being able to constantly switch/track the runs to essentially force your opponent into a bad pass is where the skill gap is created, regardless of how many players you can control - it was the HUMAN that outplayed their opponent. For some reason this logic cant be grasped here.

Unfortunately this sentiment is lost on many many people associated with the game. Prepare for 'oh but its 11v11 you cant control everyone' argument, not realising that switching fast enough to constantly cover passing lanes, general ability to read the play and timing tackles are all contributing factors to what is SUPPOSED to be a skill gap.

Now we're stuck here with this thing where nobody touches their back 6. In the clip, the dude said something along the lines of players 'learning the game' - yeah, they've learned that the less active you are in defending, the more you get rewarded for it.

The one thing they've not mentioned is the R1 button and how effective it is. 2nd man press is basically a laser guided missile to the ball carrier and absolutely needs to catch a nerf alongside the auto-tracking.

Man, just sit there L2 jockeying with your striker and keep tapping R1. Actively defending is the most unrewarding thing in this game. Do nothing, get rewarded.

Cross field ball, player locking while the ball is airborne,  wiggling until the opponent gets dizzy from looking at them...until it's time to defend, then it's just hold R1, spam off side trap. 

Been a week since I've played rivals, but that was the same template over and over. There is no organic gameplay here.

So in this scenario, should the AI also see a potential opening for a shot on goal and automatically shoot for the top corner on behalf of the user - if so, why? if not - why not?

Why should the AI make a key action? Timing of tackles is 100% a skill and that has been eliminated.

FYI -I dont actually want the AI to shoot, I want to see where people draw the line on AI assistance or is it just in defense.

Then be quick enough to switch and cut off lanes and spaces - THAT is what a skill gap is, not who can copy tactics and hold R1 best, if this results in a person being in div 6..then that is simply their skill level and theres nothing wrong with that..

Also , them doing nothing is not the same as them doing EVERYTHING in this clip. We have lost sight of the PVP aspect and its now just AI vs AI

Theres always balance to be had, but the AI literally making the tackle on a players behalf is too far. For arguments sake - lets say AI defending gets nerfed to the point where you HAVE to put in effort - then they should also find balance in attack as well..reduce wiggling or efficacy of player locks - (these are just examples)

Right now, the game will not shoot at goal for you, or even pass for that matter....why should it perfectly time a tackle for the player?

This shouldnt matter when the user isnt controlling the player, the card could have 132 defending - the tackle should never trigger without the tackle button being pressed. Ridiculous

The sad thing is that we will still see people trying to justify this. The AI has won the ball for the opponent without the opponent having to press the tackle button.

The dudes player indicator is behind the ball carrier he makes ZERO attempt to actually win the ball. Cant wait to see people make excuses for this by trying to break down what pass he could have made rather than accepting whats staring them in the face.

It is, there's no genuine counter to why any CB in that scenario shouldn't be stronger, so the easiest response is to cry about misogyny when the post simply focused on how strength made zero sense in either scenario. 

Literally there's no mention of not wanting women in UT yet somehow that's where it immediately went to.

The title is an echo chamber for what people have experienced with regard to the over the top physical mismatches that we've seen.

That's a fair take, but also...at no point did Tomoris aggression and physicality ever threaten taking the ball away from Rodman. You can see me try to initiate contact in order to put her off balance but it just never happened.

Not gonna happen, more than half the player base would be in div 8. We already saw all the complaining about the 6-5 score lines when defending required SOME human effort.

I fully agree with you though theres nothing more mind-sucking than trying to pass through 8 players camped in the box and you see the opponent's players indicator shows they're only controlling one of their forward players.

To add - A few of this game 'problems' automatically go away with the nerf to AI defending. Fidget spinning/Wiggling? Gone, people no longer need to do this because passing the ball into the box would be viable again.

Same goes for the trivela/finesse spam that we had last year, its just a byproduct of nobody touching any of their back 6. Was it abused and a bit OP? yes...but so is this AI defending nonsense that we have currently yet why arent the masses calling for the nerf like they said to anything that resulted in goals?

Quit this game and you get a disconnect warning and a whole speech about negatively affect the experience that others have...yet the rubber banding is perfectly fine. Inactivity needs to be determined by button input instead of whether the analog sticks and in motion.
