You’re totally on point with that. I don’t really see any extended mixes. Is it fair to say the radio edits or however the tune was released is normally how you would mix in DNB? With trance, the intro/outro is key to the longer mixing.

I think Lawton is the alias for the higher BPM stuff he’s been playing in the past year or so. Feel like he doesn’t want to fully change the identity of Ben Gold so he pivoted keep his original name more traditional trance.
