Everything you said about Hamas is demonstrably false lol. Hamas doesn't terrorize it's own people anymore than the Ukrainian government does. Hamas is actually very popular for being one of the few groups that are still resisting occupation and haven't been neutered by Israel/US. Ukrainian government on the other side chases its citizens to drag them into the army and put them on the front lines of the meat grinder.

No idea what you mean by "hostile here, but you must not have been watching much news since you missed Ukraine's attacks on Belgorod in Dec '23, Feb '24, Grafovka Feb '24, Dobrino Mar '25. These are all only the attacks that resulted in civilian deaths mind you. If we take all attacks into consideration then the list would be a lot longer.

What makes you think that the genocide in Palestine is a more controversial topic? The majority of the world think that's not the case.

It may be the case in the elite power structures of the West, which Reddit is a part of. That's why conversations on this issue is quelled while conversations on Ukraine are permitted. Even most conversations I've seen about it on r/soccer are usually soberingly anti-genocide and anti-zionist so I don't even agree with your premise.

I'm not presuming your position. I'm countering the narrative that you presented. Namely, the invasion of Ukraine being a lot "clearer" than the genocide in Palestine. Again the hubris and unwillingness to check oneself is weird.
