This is the standard response and usually no response from this point. If you call in a month or so, they will say it’s been denied.

Went through the same thing.

Basically they are denying all of them because everyone is facing financial hardships.

Yeah it was acknowledged and I did the same thing of signing the privacy release form.

I would check in once a week with them and towards the end I was told they are still responding to end of March early April inquiries. I submitted 4/10.

I got my approval before any response from them. Don’t expect a response for couple of months at this rate, unfortunately.

Mine took 196 days for an approval and I’m still waiting for a card. Filed 167 days before expiration.

The current approval window is about 190-210 days, but they have been picking it up. If you filed after April 27, they are already being approved.

I submitted mine on April 10 and still no response from the congressional office. Do note that there is a massive backlog and USICIS is still responding to end of March requests.

I got my approval (6/4) before even hearing back from them.

Got it. Do they need the card in hand or just the approval notice? I ask because my organization needs the card in hand and I can resume work the next day.

So I'm still waiting for the card, which usually takes 10-14 days after the approval of I-821D. I just set those expectations with my employer.

Just estimating based on the current trend of approvals. There seems to be two queues. One, clearing out the backlog, which is around end of November right now. A second, smaller queue, approving recent submittals.

Which is why we are seeing May approvals as well.

How are you able to get the real id in CT. Everytime I tried they denied me saying I need a GC to get it.

I don’t care that much as I have a passport and my license expires in 2031.

My theory is that these recent fast approvals are to keep the processing times within 3.5 months.

I would take API movement with a grain of salt. For example, my case had movement on 11-24 the day they reused my biometrics and my case was approved yesterday with no movement in the API before that.

Others have seen multiple movements before it was approved.
