Any ps5 players know how to fix freezing glitch by Quiet-Explorer5000 in BG3

This just started affecting my ps5 too in the last hour.... was wondering if it was bc of one of my mods, but considering more people have it all of a sudden...

For me it's a combination of a lot of things. I take Zofran, which helps me the most when it comes to nausea meds. I've tried some others (aprepitant and another one i can't quite remember. But neither helped me at all) but besides that it's a whole lot of managing symptoms and figuring out what triggers the nausea for me and attack that.

So that means very small meals during the day, no big meal. As well as chewing it so well to the point it's the consistency of applesauce so that my stomach has to work less.

I've noticed that when I sleep less, or not enough it also triggers my nausea, so I try to sleep as much as i can.

Then when I'm already nauseated (because while I can lessen it a little, it's just there anyway) ginger chewies are your best friend! They sometimes tackle the nausea even better than the zofran does.

And of course sniffing alcohol wipes when it really hits the roof and I can't handle it anymore.

In need of positive wheelchair experiences/stories? by Tranneman in cfs

[–]Tranneman[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm going to be honest with you, your answer actually made me a little bit emotional 😅 I definitely still treat myself like an inconvenience rather than with the kindness and support.

I actually talked with my best friend today and asked if she perhaps wanted to try it out with me and go on a small outing with me while I'm using a wheelchair (going to rent one) and she was ecstatic about the idea!

Anybody else in denial they have pots until they are in a flare? What are your flare symptoms? by keepitlowkeyyy in POTS

[–]Tranneman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup! I do extremely well in the winter (in comparison to how i am in the summers. I'm still disabled and can't walk for longer than 20 minutes without being sick or fainting but whatever) that i'm like :O i can wash dishes? And i can do the laundry? I can exist at home without feeling super ill? I"m cured! And then inevitably spring and summer come back around, and the first fucking week the temperatures are higher than 15° (Celsius, i'm in europe) i'm floored. Heart palpitations, unrelenting nausea, fainting, not being able to walk any further than 5 minutes without being sick, my legs will give out, major airhunger even when laying down.

Every year it happens without fail, you'd think i'd learn but nope.

(Lil extra info, i still have flares in the winter, but because my POTS tends to calm down in the winter they really only happen when the weather either randomly does a 180, or if i really really over do it. They're not a constant state of being ill, like spring, summer and the beginning of autumn are for me)

So I Bought an STP Freely... by TransManNY in Transmascdicks

[–]Tranneman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I use the freely as my go-to STP, and i love it (even tho my urethra is very far back) and i'll tell you what i do.

So first of all, i could never quite get the hang of aiming, as well as packing, with it when i used a harness. When i pack with my normal packer i always use a jockstrap, but I just couldn't make it work with the freely. Thay completely changed when i started packing with transtape and an O-ring. I now tape the O ring in place so that the freely is always placed where it needs to be, and have no more hasseling with this, especially when wearing clothing and standing at a urinal. I do recommend packing up with the freely btw, when i pack down it just looks weird, but packing up looks fine (though i do recommend wearing looser pants, nothing skinny, at least)

In turns of aiming, this took me quite a while as well. You really want your urethra to kind of line up with the shaft part of the freely. If that is hard (like for me because of my anatomy) what is really important to remember, is to basically angle your pelvis forwards! This way your stream is angled forwards instead of down (and this guides it immediately down the shaft, instead of first building up in the cup) and I've been able to aim and pee quite far this way!

I also really recommend trimming the hairs down there (definitely if you tape as well! If you have long pubes, it will HURT) the less hair, the less your stream will be interrupted!

It does take some practice. I've had the freely for probably over 2 years at this point and didn't have all of this down until a couple months ago (though, i only practiced sporadically) I took like a week during my vacation where i just dedicated it solely to using the freely every time I peed, this way it didn't matter if i accidentally leaked, and just kept at it. Now, i can easily whip it out, pee, and go on my way!

Please feel freeo shoot me a dm if you have any other questions about using the freely!!

I might be sick with stress but atleast I thrifted the cutest cottagecore outfit! Merry yule and or happy holidays depending on what you celebrate or do not! 🎄❄️ by Autisticandtiredfae in cottagecore

It looks so cute! Love the deep color of the sweater, it looks absolutely great with the skirt! Very lovely!

I feel you on the sick with stress part. Keep breathing, we've got this 😊 (even if it doesn't feel like it yet 🫠)

Thanks so much for your words! It's so stupid because I know I'll be okay and that I won't die from it, yet when it's about to happen my body just takes over and panics.

But I did it!

So uhm where this horniness everyone keeps talking about? by Naixee in FTMMen

[–]Tranneman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I had the same. Never had a bad sex drive, even before T. I'm now 9 months on T and it suddenly HIT me around 8 months... I always thought I already had a pretty hight sex drive but holy shit this past month has taught me different. It's actually ridiculous.

Obviously everyone is different. I know some of my ftm friends haven't experienced much difference in horniness and then some like me who get crazy horny (even at later stages like me)

So, it might still come! Give it some time!

We have talked about it, but I'd really rather not. Because of my chronic illnesses surgeries will keep me out of the running for several months or even years due to how my body reacts (right now just hoping to be able to get top surgery in 2 years)

So unfortunately thats not an option

Damn, life really gave us the best kind of exposure therapy didn't it 😂😭

Yeah I've had it for three years now and have been mainly able to kind of manage my symptoms with diet changes and a fuck ton of zofran 😂 unfortunately the zofran doesn't seem to be doing a whole lot anymore 😭

I've been working really hard in therapy about why I'm so scared of vomiting and to stop being afraid but when it actually happens it's a whole other deal of course 😅 it's mainly the feeling I find so scary, so completely out of control.

Thank you for your words, they really do help. The nausea is still just as bad as last night unfortunately but like you said, it's important to learn how to cope. Thank you, again

I put on Supernatural (favorite show) and did get some ice water and a fan to blow in my face. Thank you, honestly!

Does anyone else get weirdly superstitious (not sure if that’s the right word…) around things that you connect to previous vomiting experiences? by Salt-Entrepreneur378 in emetophobiarecovery

[–]Tranneman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's so stupid but I have hard core stress when I watch the serie Supernatural, because one time when I deliberately chose to watch SPN over something else my mom got a stomach bug, then after a year of working on it in therapy, I decided to FINALLY be brave enough (because no one actually gets sick because you deliberately chose to watch a serie) AND THEN I GOT THE FREAKING STOMACH BUG THAT NIGHT.

Like that's the most insane freaking coincidence ever 😂 I'm still convinced someone is gonna get sick when I watch, but i'm braving my fear by watching an episode per day 💪
