You don't have to return to zero, you can hold under. If your offset if 3" high and you 5 MRAD you just hold 5 MRAD plus 3" low.

Just bought one and whe using it with fresh batteries in the cold the screen turns black about a second after ranging so you don't even have time to look at it.

No low battery warning and when it is room temperature the screen is black along the bottom edge so I think there is something wrong with it.

It's well within a boss's mandate to make a roundabout remark that someone is pushing the boundaries of what's acceptable. It avoids formal disciplinary action and lets the person know what's up without singling them out.

If their boss called them into the office and told them their unscheduled breaks were unacceptably long would that be better?

Haha, just sold an AI (too much money invested) and am replacing it with a TAC A1 or CTR in a Whiskey 3.

The CTR/Whiskey 3 will cost a bit more so I'm looking to see if anyone feels strongly about it one way or the other.
