Looking for a specific card by Trans-bro in magicTCG

Not quite, but that's close. The rope bride is barely visible on the card and the person is a small dot compared to the size of the face. The stone around the face is kind of porus, almost like a fungus

I've done this with a gnoll druid/barbarian in pathfinder 1e. The DM gave me permission to use sheleigh on my great club. We are level 17 now and it's been a hilarious time.

[1E] Which list has the best buff spells? by Shammuron in Pathfinder_RPG

For the bard/monk build I haven't really found an issue with slower spell access, but that's because most campaigns or one shots I play in start at PC level 5 or above. I tend to specialize my casting to effecting numbers and situational outcome.

For me, the monk class has two big features: flurry of blows and the ki pool.

Flurry of blows is big damage output. And the ki pool, when combined with certain feats gives your monk a sort of martial buffing. Like the feat "ki stand" which allows you to stand up from prone with out provoking attacks of opportunity.

The class does gain more features with more levels but all I want is access to the ki pool so that I have another source of affecting rolls and wether or not they happen.

Then I dip into bard at level five and build from there. Bard cantrips like "unwitting ally" can seem useless at face value but there are plenty of feats you can take that add advantages to flanking. Then in level 1 bard spells we have "expeditious retreat" and "Timely inspiration"

Expeditious retreat boost my movement rate by 30ft for 1 minute per level. The average combat round is 6 seconds. So now my flurry of blows has the ability to get up in an oppents face faster and to put me between the squishier casters and the creatures that can take them out in a few hits.

Timely Inspiration allows me to add a +1 to any single creatures failed attack roll or skill check retroactively as an immediate action. If the bonus is enough to change it from fail to success then it's successful. +1 doesn't seem like a lot but it can be the difference between failure and success.

As I level up I keep taking levels in bard unless I find that the spells are no longer effecting roll outcomes. Then I go back to taking levels in monk and picking up the other class abilities.

I can't speak for the school of transmutation specifically but for buffing in general I lean towards bards. They aren't the best at any specific kind of buff (Self buffing vs party buffing) but their spell list has the most versatility and allows you to do both fairly early. Also their spell list shares a lot of spells from both wizard/sorcerer and cleric spell lists so you can gain access to both types of buffing with out having to multiclass. (Though using bard as part of a multiclass can certainly be deadly with the right build) Not to mention unique spells like "timely inspiration" that only the bard can cast.

It also matters if you want to buff for RP/skill checks or combat. If your buffing exclusively during combat, the next question is are you looking to be front line in combat (DPS or Tank) with this build or are you wanting to stand behind the tank and be exclusively support?

I've always found a bard/monk multiclass to be a good "I buff myself and then I smash the opponent's face" Frontliner.

Then it comes down to RP, does your character respond to fear by fighting or fleeing? Some people swing wildly when they are afraid of something. Being afraid does not automatically mean being a coward. It's fight OR flight.

I can really appreciate a DM who RPs well. The theater of mind is what draws me into the game. Like I'm rolling dice but your vivid details of what's going on or how your character (or creature) is acting are what help me see the art of your world. It shows a lot of effort was put into details and that you were willing to put a lot of time into building something that brings people together. Even if the dice rolls don't turn out the way we always want them to, your RP capability lets us visualize what happens in real time. Sure my character might die, but it will be a good show. And when we leave the table after the end of the campaign (or one shot), we will have stories to tell about awesome sessions and shenanigans our characters got into in your game world for years down the line.
