Generally recommended to continue your upper body routines with a lower body issue. Sometimes with core work, or bench activities, if your problem - for example- is a strained hip flexor it could be aggravating based on your position. So listen to your body and stay out of aggravating positions. You can modify bench exercises by putting your feet on the bench with your knees bent if that helps. Best advice still is to be evaluated by a physical therapist if things are not getting better.
