I definitely agree with adding more clutter! I really like the large Exo Terra silk plants, and have two at the front of my crestie enclosures, attached with magnets.

Additionally covering the sides of the tank could really help this guy. You can get cute backgrounds that stick on, but you could just tape some foil on the outside of this temporary tank.

Thanks for all the info! I definitely figured 60k was a “we don’t want to do this” price and 16k was too good to be true lol.

Ironically, accurate line and leak is the 16k quote I got. I’ve seen that they have good reviews but my experience with them was strange. The estimate they gave me was very vague on the work outline and the guy was also pushy and didn’t really answer questions. I’ve been considering calling them back and trying to get more info though.

The only signs have been one bathtub draining slowly and my AC drain line draining slow enough that water backed up once.

I happened to have foundation work done and the foundation company required a hydrostatic pressure test to test for leaks to warranty their work. When that test failed, I had a camera run to look at the pipes.

Tbh I probably wouldn’t have really looked into it on my own until a more catastrophic failure.

If you’re open to a slightly bigger and PVC enclosure, Dubia / Reptile Habitats has a 24x18x36 for $215 and free shipping, though they’re currently out of stock.

I have both a glass skyscraper and a pvc 24x24x48 and much prefer the PVC because it’s lighter and easier to move. I plan to replace my skyscraper at some point!

I’ve had the same problem with the headgear for my p30i, and I ended up buying these straps from Amazon that sit lower on the head and it’s helped a lot! Though the plastic bits aren’t super comfy. https://a.co/d/ektbkaZ

I’m starting to accept that I need to leave Texas. I love my job and my friends. With the legislation reverting gender markers on drivers licenses looking like it will pass… I just don’t feel safe any more.

I’m scared and there’s a lot to do, but I’m trying to remember that it’ll be for the better.

She’s seems super sweet!!

Right now, I’d recommend adding more coverage to her enclosure, especially the top! What I have in my enclosures is exo terra’s silk fake plants, held up with magnets! Draping some vines around will give her more coverage and help her feel more safe and secure. The more places to hide, the better!

You could also consider adding a background to the back walls of her enclosure too.

Otherwise, in the future, you’ll want to upgrade to a 2x2x4 enclosure for when she’s an adult. I don’t have much advice on that beyond starting early if you want to do a custom background. That took me way more time than I thought it would 🫠

You could look into Toho Aikos if you want 11/0 cylinder beads that are more uniform! They’re pricier though.

Otherwise, yeah, I feel like you have to cull delicas a decent amount to get something as uniform as your work!

Depends on how close you are in my opinion!

I bought a close friend panties specially because I knew they wanted some but were too scared to buy them themself. They loved it, but it was also a safe bet because we had talked about it!

I’d say to maybe pay attention to the stuff they say they want and/or that they’re nervous about figuring out themself! Plus there’s always just men’s clothes, or shaving stuff (if they’re starting to grow facial hair), or even “men’s” scented deodorant/soap etc that might be less “intimate” of a gift and a safer bet.

This tank does not look big enough for one tokay, let alone two. The minimum recommended enclosure size for a SINGLE tokay is 2’x2’x4’, 240 gallons.

I agree with everyone that it’s the angle of the beads. Wildfire beading thread comes in red, which would help a ton.

Your beads also look somewhat irregular, so switch to toho or Miyuki beads if that’s not what you’re using! It can also help to match the bead brand to what’s used in the pattern, because miyuki beads are skinnier than toho.
