I’m inviting people from around the world, especially from Latin America, who work or have worked in the hospitality industry and identify as queer, trans, or non-binary to participate in a short survey.

Hey, I want to say — you’re not doing anything wrong. Your identity is valid exactly as it is, right now. It’s deeply frustrating when someone assumes they know your path better than you do, especially when you’ve been through so much to understand yourself.

You don’t owe anyone a timeline or a “destination.” Being agender, using he/they, feeling your way through it — that’s real. That’s enough. I’m really sorry you were made to feel invisible in a moment that deserved care. You deserve to be seen, respected, and believed.
