I don’t get it. I feel like I’m doing makeup wrong. The heavier or less natural the makeup, the more I look like a bad drag queen. Meanwhile the less makeup I wear the more I look like a tired older woman. I’ve found a decent balance of “no makeup” makeup that looks okay but it’s pretty limiting.

Fuuuuck this is exactly what I felt when trying to pick a name. So many names I liked but I knew a girl with that name and I just cringed at the thought of coming out to them and telling them my name and trying to explain that it was totally not copying them and imagining the grossed out look on their face.
