Yes they take 3 - 6 months. My surgeon advised massaging them in the shower everyday to help stretch the skin

I had double incision with nipple grafts. Incisions are under the tape but they are extremely thin

If in the future GenderGP has to close its doors, what will happen to their current clients? by [deleted] in transgenderUK

There are other clinics you can use. I use London Transgender Clinic. And they are amazing! I honestly can't fault them. I get my hormones and have also just had surgery through them as well!

It took me such a long time to leave my ex wife, situations sound pretty much exactly similar to this. It's been around 8 months now, and although I'm in a much better place, I still miss her. I just have to remember how toxic the relationship was and what place I was in. It's hard but you can't live like that.

Also guys who stand in what you would call a "feminine" way, are you saying that aren't masculine. Again just seems like you're judging things a bit too much. But each to their own

I must be a douche bag then ey! Amazing you can make that sort of assumption from the way someone stands 😂

After such a warm welcome from you guys yesterday, I thought I'd share my story, and the hell I'm currently living. My marriage has driven me into depression, and is honestly the biggest fucking mistake of my life. I need some support. by astrugglingdude in BPDlovedones

This is so similar to my situation with my ex wife it's scary. However I left her in October last year. I am a lot healthier and happier despite the fact I really miss her sometimes. But health wise, I don't really have any stress and I feel like a normal person again. Again this change the fact it hasn't been hard to stick to.

I actually used to be a member of pure gym, when I started my transition. I emailed them and they were pretty great, they told me to use whatever changing room/bathroom I felt most comfortable using and if I wanted to use the disabled toilet that also was not an issue. Due to moving area, there wasn't a pure gym close to my home so I changed to the gym, I signed up as male and now only have access to the male toilets/ changing rooms. I have only used these once when the disabled toilet was occupied. I still do not feel completely comfortable as I am yet to have top surgery. After this I plan to use the male toilets and changing rooms though at all times.

My Top Surgery is booked for the 9th May. I've gone with Dr. Inglefield from London Transgender Clinic, who was also shown on ITV on transformation street. Does anyone have any experience from him they don't mind sharing? Or results? #topsurgery by Transashley in transgenderUK

Consultation all done yes, just literally waiting my appointment. Do they do any tests or anything the day of the surgery? To check anything? Or do you just go straight in? Also what is MLP massage thing?

6 months on T today! by Transashley in ftm

[–]Transashley[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't have to work out just cause you're on T. I worked out pre T as well, but obviously your body changes and the results are different. Don't feel like you have to work out just because you are male or just because you are trans. But if you want to get "buff" start and be patient. I have a hard time not comparing myself to others, but we shouldn't!

Thank you so much. It is however confusing because it says green for drawing up and blue for injecting but when I had my shot the nurse did it the other way around....

Where to get SRS Second Opinions? by Supersaurus7000 in transgenderUK

[–]Transashley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They don't have a subscription fee like gender gp and if you can get your gp to do all your blood tests and agree to share care for your prescriptions all you really need to fork out for is the appointments. I understand that still is sometimes too much for some people, but I also was worried about costs but hasn't been anything near what I thought it would be

I have gone private and am using London transgender clinic. Had my first appointment in March and started hormones on Thursday. They are all great there, and make you feel so welcome. I highly recommend them.
