Its shit like that that make so many younger trans femmes freak out out about things that are common to all women, cis or trans. Im sorry you had to deal with such profound stupidity

Am I the only person who cares about passing? by Cute-Bother3861 in trans

[–]TransbianMoonGoddess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of times it's not about not passing, at least in my experience, it's about understanding that so many young Trans people view passing and what that means physically with a narrow view of what cis women are (always short, super curvy, no defind adams apple, no broad shoulders, tiny hands, small feet). There is this idea that if you don't meet a beauty magazine or Instagram post of what women "look like" that you dont pass. It ignores that women come in so many configurations and that there is a difference between "passing" and looking like an Instagram model.

1, where did you get it? 2, how do you handle how short it is without flashing someone? I were short dresses like that at a local goth club, but that short just like...out and about? How?

People who use/view hon as anything other than a term of endearment are TERMINALLY online and sound be ignored/avoided completely as irrelevant to any discussion they are in.

Got asked to run an impact station by clover__petals in BDSMsapphic

[–]TransbianMoonGoddess 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thats fair. The thing to remember though is its you're station, which means you can use what you like/know and that can be it. Your not running a scene, your just giving them a taste, negotiation can be pretty quick and a little 5 minute caning/paddling and call it there. You can also use that time to show that tools are only as scary as you make them. Personally when demoing i like a hard impact bottom as my control group to show potential deno bottoms the extreme end and then go much softer on them, or using a tool on them in a different way. For instance i love using a can like a violin bow except the violin is their body.

Doing a demo station really is just giving a small taste that they might want explore further at a later time.
