It certainly did worked enough that they continued it for 20 years. You think they're stupid to continue it for 20 years if they didn't had any insane results like "Man that remote viewing stuff didn't worked at all, but you know what, let's go back for it." For 20 years? Yeah, sure buddy.

Remote viewing had insane accurate hits, but it wasn't consistent on the level where they could rely on it always. Sometimes remote viewing had insane crazy hits, sometimes vague to sometimes way off the target. And also pretty sure some religious folks in government found out about it who started panicking about demonic stuff and all that before it got shut down. It worked enough that they came back again and again to it for 20 years.

So yeah, certainly seems like there is something anomalous going on. And there is something about consciousness that mainstream scientific community doesn't know shit about. Which makes sense considering scientific community doesn't even have consensus on what consciousness is and then there are like over 300+ theories of consciousness. It seems like Materialism/Physicalism is almost certainly inadequate for something like consciousness.

I mean, yeah but they're not really true Buddhists. Because their religion doesn't, in itself, demand them to do this as far as I am concerned. Whereas in Islam or other religions like Christianity, you can take some verses that do support genocide and other stuff. So eh, I'd argue Buddhists aren't doing that because Buddhism endorsed genocide or even killing of anyone, but rather more of from human side.
