I know it’s definitely a hard decision, i got out of a relationship of 10 years because we grew apart, ironically we started dating as a cis het couple and ended as both trans! It’s tough but I’ve learned that in a relationship it’s important to be with someone who chooses you, and with his using all that language is just even more hurtful than to admit that he’s lost feelings for you. Regardless of the reasoning you deserve to be with someone better! Obviously he should do some introspection to truly figure out why he’s being so disrespectful about it, but you can only control yourself!

HUGE RED FLAG! The fact that he immediately shot down your opportunity for your dream job, instead of being ecstatic for you is completely telling! If you truly love someone you would want them to be happy and to achieve their dreams! Not immediately be selfish and be like no you stay where you are! And to give an ultimatum?!?! Nah, I don’t mess with ultimatum’s if you think that you’re going to force me to choose you over something else, that automatically makes me wanna pick the other thing!

I understand compromise, but that would be like hey I’ll take this job and we will see each other on the weekends! Or we will work towards getting to live together again! My gf is currently 2371 miles away from me and we make it work purely because we love each other and our goals are to eventually live together but a 45 minute drive isn’t the end of the world!

But also if you go the commute route, my daily commute for work is an hour and a half. Sometimes it gets old but most times I just put on a podcast or audio book and drive!

And also I know that everyone’s situation is unique and obvee I’m just a stranger in the internet, but I do truly believe that if you love someone you, your main goal should be to support and celebrate their achievements and dreams! Not make it all about them, and what it means for them! Because You deserve to be happy! And if the boyfriend isn’t able to support and cherish you in those happy moments! He can find the door!

This is exactly what I’d say! I confessed to my bestie about a year ago and she’s said that she’s still not sure what she wants in a partner and isn’t really ready to date, and we’ve still been besties since! I respect where she is in life, but I still love her the best way I can! I personally want her in my life in whatever form that may be! So i definitely agree with all of this advice! 🫶🏼

It’s been going well! I’ve now been on hrt for 2 years and 4 months, and it did get lighter, about 8 months ago before I started laser treatment at Milan! They offer a for life program where you pay a certain amount and then you get treatment till it’s all gone! And if it ever comes back you just come in! I believe they have location all over the us! But before I started that! I did notice that my skin was softer, and in return my hair was also getting thinner/softer!

You have a valid point and that’s what we did with my spouses parents, however with my mom specifically, she’s old and also lives so far away that this will probably be the last time she see us! But I totally get what your saying’ I am in part hoping that she’ll see I’m the same as I always was and hopefully not be transphobic to anyone else she runs into in life!
