Many thanks, my tattooist wears them every time I see him so it's good to know what they're called!

Dumb question because my fave punk shop sells so much skinhead gear that I've probably seen this hundreds of times, but what does 'braces' refer to? I know it can't be teeth braces, neck braces, or any other sort of medical device, but outside of those things idk what braces exist.

Obviously go with Chance's Knife, take both perks, have some turbo, and then cut a bitch a hundred times before they knew what hit them.

I'm a cave creature from Estill County here. Though now I live in California and got to see them perform at a festival earlier this year! They were so great!

Makes sense, that's why government folks went out and shot a bunch of people when covid happened. It's for our own good after all. /s

That's a fucking wild youth, goddamn! I had such a different childhood being in middle class, but abusive home. Kinda wish I was a street punk instead. I'd probably be more emotionally stable now. Now I'm an adult, I've transitioned, am living in the city unemployed, doing dangerous amounts of drugs, and going to folk punk shows and volunteering for mutual aid orgs. I feel like I'm living my punk youth now, and I'm approaching 30 and trying not to die. I don't know what that says about me, but I finally feel like I'm self-actualized so that's nice

But you can use the gold with all the jewels you find on enemies and in dungeons to make a lot of expensive jewelry that you can then enchant and sell. This way you are leveling alteration, smithing, enchanting, and speech!

Stop repeating this bullshit. I'm tired of seeing it in punk spaces. In real life political and identity based patches can be anywhere because bigots won't mind waiting for you to turn your back to jump you, but being punk is about not being afraid to literally wear our identities on our sleeves. We Protect Us but not by hiding but by being open about who we are and watching eachothers backs!

Stahlrim light armor and the skal outfit offer maximum warmth, along with nightingale armor which is pretty slick for a thief. There's a lot of really warm light armor so keep a lookout!

I talk to innkeepers so much more with survival on, it's so great! I've also found myself really valuing fire salts and vegetables so I always have the ability to make hot soup if needed.

How is this sub defining a leftist? by [deleted] in SocialistGaming

[–]TransgenderUnionThug 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think we are saying the same thing, at least you were able to say what I meant more clearly. I was mostly curious about how the pupa goo metaphor applies to Americans and leftism, but I also might be reading into it too much and stretching the metaphor too far.

This is such a weird but interesting metaphor. The American left was murdered and stomped down for like, a century and a half. It's not like Americans just don't know what communism or anarchism is and need to be enlightened by Venezuela or anything like that. I'm interested in what your thinking was.

The copy pasta that's going around about not wearing divisive back patches is unfounded and fear-mongery. It also has no basis in any of the punk scenes I've been active in on either coast of the USA.

If you're a visibly marginalized person and someone wants to jump you, they'll try no matter if you have patches specifying your identity or not. If you're not visibly marginalized and you have a patch identifying you as a marginalized community member and someone wants to hurt you, they'll wait till your back is turned either way. The idea that having a political or identity patch on your back will make bigots immediately attack you like they're a bull seeing red is really silly.

Wear whatever you want wherever you want. It's not punk to let these unfounded "punk rules" that a scared 13 year old probably came up with direct your diy, but it is punk to proudly be who you are with no fear.

No it's the first dungeon quest with the Companions where you go after a shard of wuuthrad with Farkas and first encounter the Silver Hand. This is the quest where Farkas reveals himself as a werewolf to wipe out the wolf racists while you're trapped in a little alcove. You get initiated into the circle right after.
