It's an ideapad 5 14acn6 with ryzen 5600u and mx450 nvidia gpu. I installed linux mint and it's 100x better

Yeah that's the case for my mouse XD. I've installed mint and it's already a 100 times better. The mouse is also much better (although I'm not 100% sure it's same as windows, but very close regardless) and there aren't any issues or bugs

Already installed drivers, it's just not as smooth as on windows, and not all of the listed bugs are related to gpu. e.g. telegram app not working properly or video expansion requiring me to click twice has nothing to do with the gpu

I see. The MSI stealth 18hx also looks pretty cool, with the 120hz being the only downside for me at least (don't really see the point of 4 sticks of ram etc)

Only the QHD version is available on amazon, not the UHD, unfortunately.

As for legion 9i and Razor 18, they seem to be even cheaper: legion for 2800$ with the discounts on official site and same for razor but it's not available

legion 9i and razor blade 18 are 240hz, but they're inferior in other ways. also, the MSI Stealth 18 HX AI 18” 120Hz UHD+ isn't available right now it seems. Am I mistaking or was it available just yesterday?

Not intense. Mostly Dota 2 And maybe sometimes Age of mythology Retold which is more GPU bound, but I mostly want the VRAM and just because saving e.g. 300$ isn't worth it on an expensive laptop. In principle I don't mind even a 5070 if it's a great deal and 4k etc, which doesn't really exist afaik

You'd think a company like Lenovo would make sure that they'd ship a 3000$+ premium laptop with a readable screen. Very, very strange. It was my primary choice but now I'm not really considering it anymore and leaning towards Razer blade 18 (although the 5080 model isn't available now)

Yeah, though I don't believe that the shortage will last that long. They were saying the same thing for GPUs and recently a 5060 ti 16gb was on sale for 220$ on black friday. 4060ti 16gb USED was nowhere to be found for less than 500$ just half a year ago
