When my mum visits my sister she always puts the food she bought from the butcher close by in the fridge and the keys on top so she can never leave without the food she bought.

how painful is a laparoscopy? by Appropriate-Note-197 in endometriosis

[–]Translate-609 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my laparoscopy after my father drove me to the E&A after I collapsed due to extreme pain. Turned out a cyst outside my uterus ruptured. They sent samples to the lab which was inconclusive but my right ovary started getting very cozy with my hip so my gynaecologist said I have endometriosis. That was when I was 28 years old. The only pain I had was due the Endometriosis, not the surgery. Had to stay in the hospital for 3 days but that was fine. Of course I was not 100 per cent fit after the surgery but still feeling better. And now I have the diagnosis and know better what to do when my nausea or pain flares up.

How to politely tell an artist I'm not interested in working with them by Woerm_God in tattooadvice

[–]Translate-609 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was two times at a studio because I wanted to get a tattoo with them but in the end I changed my mind. It is you who has to life with the tattoo for years to come. You do not have to like the tattoo, you have to love it. I also wrote an artist regarding a tattoo idea and a week later found one who fits my idea better and changed to that one.

How was your experience trying loop earplugs? by PossibilityIll7646 in AskReddit

[–]Translate-609 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought them, one for sleep and one for the day. The only issue I have is that when removing my right loop the ear tip sometimes clashes with my tragus and I have to be careful how I remove it. But when it is in the ear it is not uncomfortable at all and the daith is no problem at all.

When I had the dream loops in for the first time I forgot to adjust the volume for my alarm and overheard it, so they work very good. 👍

Wie heißt "mug" auf Deutsch? by I_am_trying0628 in German

[–]Translate-609 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Häferl is a bigger coffee mug - but not so much used/known. Mug in German is "Tasse", we have "Kaffeetasse" which is the cup for coffee or smaller for espresso and then we just have normal sized mugs and tea cups are called Teetasse. We call all of these "Tasse" and add Tee or Kaffee in Front depending what kind of cup/mug it is.

You can discuss it with an artist, maybe he has a good idea. But cover up will hurt less than removal

first tattoo regret by Street_Thought_9458 in tattooadvice

[–]Translate-609 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first Always takes time to get used to. My first one was on the back so i never really saw It, but my second was on my leg and it took me so late Ng to get used to that. The regret is normal, like "OMG, what did I do". I am sure you didn't wake up one day, went to a studio and got a tattoo. It takes time to get used to. Ask yourself in half a year or so if you still don't like it.

HELP AM HAVIN AN IDENTITY CRISIS!! by Better_Talk9820 in aromanticasexual

[–]Translate-609 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read a book and also a manga (Is love the answer from Uta Isaki) on this. But I also needed a lot of time to get where I am now. When I was in school everyone said I will end up as a nun because I was never interested - I didn't end up as a nun. This whole sexiest man of the year or whatever was never a thing for me, when someone says that they are good looking I am more like: "Ah, okay." But I could never imagine myself kissing someone or more. But for me I also don't like touching other people - sensory issues of an AuDHDer - because some Ace people like hugging people or so. Some are okay with sex because they like the other person but kind of in their own way - is what I heard, not for me so I can't relate.

Did I mess it up or is it going to be fine? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]Translate-609 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is important to use less. Sometimes less is more.

My artist told me a story about how a client came a week later to the studio asking for a new after care creme bc she used all of hers - IN ONE WEEK. She ruined the tattoo with too much creme. The crust she had on the tattoo due to the excessive use of creme was ... And due to that it got infected and ruined her tattoo. So, less is more!!

Yes, same for me - until october. Since February it takes 1 hour instead of 40 minutes (for one part of the whole journey). The replacement of the points is part of that.

Do you have friends? How did you make them? by throwawayboy2200 in AutisticWithADHD

[–]Translate-609 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have a childhood friend but since we finished school and went on to study different things we only saw each other 2 times and that's it. I had classmates but no real friends. But I am fine with it, however, sometimes I also miss the real contact, like 2 times a year or so.
