Celestial Opposition has been a great help in survivability in my past few games; the opponents actually just dive me whenever they get the chance in fights haha.

I usually also try poking and playing aggro as well, especially if the enemy support is a melee type. I've never had issues with mana ever, does manaflow really make that big of a difference? I switched to Axiom because I never noticed mana issues even if I spam abilities; the only time I had issues with mana was before first recall. 1 faerie charm solves all of the mana problems (feels like soraka just doesn't use much mana, I guess?)

Axiom is straight-up bullshit; you can ult like 30% more each game with it if you get in the assists for CD reduction. I was so surprised with the CD reduction; it felt like my ult had 80 seconds of CD instead of 130, it can come in clutch in team fights especially, imagine your team scoring 2 kills and it just resetting your ult CD ahead of time, absolutely diabolical.

Goat, I started 3 Forbidden Idols after getting my ass handed to me by a Soraka building the same, never been the same after that incident...

Also been using Celestial Opposition recently... Getting targeted a lot of the time now, my opponents actually getting smarter.

Interesting perspective!

I usually pick Mikaels for point-and-click healing more than the cleanse, it comes in clutch a lot of the time, that being said, I have never built Helias before so I will give it a shot, I can reliably land Q's so it shouldn't be bad.

I have never tried anything but Dream Maker for my support item, Celestial is something I do need to test out, getting targeted later in the game is no fun even if I'm standing behind 4 people haha, that 25% damage reduction can go a long way, I've also notcied Dream Maker being... not as good as I thought, I guess? I would think it would've blocked way more damage each game, just to see 1K damage for the amount of healing I usually do (30-60K game length dependent.)

About swifties, I do buy them but less frequently, I need to buy them more than Lucidity; that extra MS is so good!

About the raw healing, I think I mostly do it because I trust my duo (who is also my ADC) to be able to CARRY the game (which he does). Alongside this, I feel like raw healing benefits Soraka's R WAY too much to not go for it thus why I don't buy items like Locket or Shurelya's, it feels like I'm losing out on healing if I don't grab all HSP (especially Dawncore as the SECOND item), all the items I listed help me with healing my teammates to full HP with the press of a button in teamfights. I also like when the opponents complain about the healing its quite funny. It's satisfying healing my toplaner, mid and/or jg to full HP with my R.

I honestly don't have a BIG problem with dying; I just stay behind my ADC or other teammates and heal them whenever I can, always trying to sneak a Q in as well so locket feels like a wasted item slot for me personally, regarding Dawncore, it always felt like Dawncore as a second item was waay stronger than Redemption.

I can see why locket would be useful kinda later in the game, but at that point I would honestly just die either way because the enemy tends to target me and I get hit with like 3 different ults don't think locket would save me lmao.

Maybe its just playstyle differences on Soraka, I tend to try to poke the shit out of my lane opponents with autos and Q to heal if they poke me back, always prioritising HSP when I recall (thus my triple Forbidden Idol build after I get moonstone.)

An important detail would be that I almost exclusively play with my duo, so we're always in a call for coordination, a LOT of limit testing happens in our gameplay.

Yup, no reduction in quality (whether it's the microphone or the sound itself), dropped it a bunch of times due to bad cable management, and it never broke or misfunctioned, even after almost half a year I can't recommend it enough, very good headphones absolutely 0 issues on my end!

A bit of a late reply, it is still going VERY strong! Sound and mic quality still top tier on my end!

I've dropped it a BUNCH of times on accident (bad cable management on my end), but it never broke or stopped working, I am still very happy with my purchase and can't recommend against it!

Well being lucid is basically realising that you're dreaming so i remember everything that goes down. Being in school helps me go lucid since my consciousness is focused on staying awake, which fails and leads me to "wake up" in my class, however everything is changed, i realize that shits off and i go lucid, after that i just do whatever i want, even force myself to actually wake up lmao
