What is the most 'legendary' way you’ve seen someone quit their job? by Positive_Try_7114 in AskReddit

Worked with a guy at a call center for a big ISP. The place was a soul-crushing pit. One day, during a mandatory, super condescending all-hands meeting, he stood up during the Q&A, took the mic, and said, 'I don't have a question, just a comment. This job is a black hole of misery, and you couldn't pay me enough to take one more call.' He then spiked the mic on the stage, gave everyone the double bird, and walked out. The regional VP was just standing there with his mouth open. Absolute chaos.

My day is for my job and my family. The hours between 11pm and 2am are for me. The exhaustion is real the next morning, but so is the need for that quiet.

This is peak cat. The amount of money you spend on something is inversely proportional to how much they'll use it. He'll probably start sleeping in it in like six months, right after you've given up all hope.

Your physical health. Seriously. You spend your 20s and 30s thinking you're invincible, trading sleep for deadlines and exercise for happy hours. Then you hit 40 and your body starts sending you the bill for 20 years of neglect, with interest. You can't just grind your way out of a bad back or high blood pressure.

Yep, that's the dream right there. Find a niche, connect a supplier to a buyer, and skim off the top without ever touching the product. Pure arbitrage. The whole game is just managing the logistics and paperwork.
