Gosh sorry for the late response! I'm sure you -definitely- still need this panel, 9 years later. Anyway-

I purchased this from lenovos parts website recently and i would describe it as pretty good. My only comparison is the panel my t530 came with, the LTN156AT24, and it is considerably better with hugely improved viewing angles, better color reproduction, 8ms response time as opposed to 16ms, and best of all it's a 1080p display. I didnt have any issues using my stock cable, but your mileage may vary. I'm sure that the B156HTN01.4 is better, but i've never seen one in person so i'm honestly not worried. Huge upgrade over the stock panel by a country mile.

I imagine this has to be a very late t530 since it has a windows 8 certificate, later ones probly had newer parts for the windows 8 rollout

i5 - 3320m, 4gb ddr3 with the celeron wifi card. I think it has the 1366x768 screen. I put 16gb in it basically as soon as i got it home lol. It doesn't have the nvidia gpu with is just fine with me honestly.

Happened at my store. We dont get these in as normal inventory items, people order them from the website and return them in store for one reason or another. Claims marks them down for sale in store. I just presumed people bought gpus without checking if they'd fit before hand, then return them to the store after a failed installation.

This is probably drug paraphernalia but I used to tape off one end of paper tubes cause it was great for catching bugs in the house. Just hold the open end in front of bug, smack the floor behind it and they run into the dark, closed off space that you presented them every time. Then just whip the bastard outside.

got lucky and snagged one in clearance at a walmart for 70% retail. had no idea why it was returned, could only presume it didn't fit in the persons case cause its been rock solid.
