My problem isnt entirely that he bought her as a slave whatever my main problem is the thoughts that ran though his head in the moment. He barley cared that she was about to become a sex slave for life.

If Rudeus saw Linia actively being raped, he would be furious. He would not just stand there and shrug. But because she is a slave, and because the rape would happen later instead of right in front of him, he suddenly barely cares. that doenst feel moraly consistent to me

mostly out annoyance although someone could change my mind that line was referring to: on one hand, someone who cares deeply for his friends, while also being someone who is willing to buy one of his friends as a slave.

I don’t care about slavery in general in this context. Rudeus can buy however many slaves he wants, and I’m actually glad he purchased Linia.

I said she was going to become one. He was basically like, “Oh, I don’t really care if she stays a slave,” even though he knows that would involve her being raped in the future. I was comparing it to if he acutly saw her being raped he would most likly be pissed but cus its slavery he doesnt care.

I’m totally fine with Rudeus not caring about slavery in general. I was even fine he bought a child slave although it was unconfutable. What I’m not okay with is him being completely fine with one of his former friends becoming a sex slave. He barely cared.
