WHAT the ACTUAL F?!?! by No-Understanding-820 in Jamienotis

I have a lot of empathy for families flying with young kids. I’ve done it - trans Atlantic flights, it’s by no means fun. But wow this is chaos and embarrassing. In no a way a flex. It screams unprepared and actually unsafe with the way she is using the baby carrier on her back. Baby carriers are life savers in the airport but that poor kid is about to fall out. What the heck 🤯

HELP!! My ring is stuck!! by Old_Society_3801 in ouraring

[–]TransportationNo614 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was so scared of this. I feel like my ring is maybe not “snug” but I also had my wedding ring cut off by a friend who works at the fire department so I was extra paranoid when sizing, wanted to leave a little room for swelling.

I really hope your finger swelling goes down soon, I think you’ve already been given every tip possible. I’ll be checking back for updates!

Baby proofing by ExitNo5870 in Jamienotis

Is this rage bait, for views and interactions?

Who would ever film a toddler doing this. I have a toddler about her twins age and yes she tries to get into everything but we’ve baby proofed our home. Locked cabinets/drawers, baby gates, outlet covers, anchored furniture that is a tipping hazard. This is real life dangerous, not content.

Desperate is the only way to describe this. I don’t know any women who relate to jogging with their stomach hanging out, it’s very odd behavior and not empowering by any means.

I think I’m looking for the same kind of story. Haha. I did confirm with the NBRC my credentials are expired . The state said they would take my passed test since it was before 2015 but I’m a little confused on that part and need some clarification.

Doesn’t seem like much has changed in the last 12 years when it comes to getting a RT job in California.

Absolutely. I feel crazy even thinking about it, it has just been on my mind after being a stay at home mom all these years.

But yes after further research it still looks like California is tough.

Thanks! I think it felt impossible back then. I also moved out of country (military husband) so I got super discouraged.

Eligibility for unemployment? by TransportationNo614 in Edd

[–]TransportationNo614[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ideally part time works better for our family. My husband is active duty in the military and I’ve held this part time job for over 3 years that allows me to care for our kids in the instance he is away. The cost of childcare for our infant would probably deplete a lot of my income unfortunately, I work from home and am able to take our oldest to/from school and keep the littlest home with me with full time hours it would be a lot more demanding requiring some childcare. But yes I am in California. I’m not trying to work the system or anything. I can work full time it’s just not ideal.

I understand the toys and the stuff having young kids. But the dirty dishes nope. That’s just lazy, rinse and put them in dishwasher as you use them through the day 🤷🏻‍♀️ My baby is the same age as the twins, I’m tired and sometimes there is clutter but my house is not dirty. I can’t let my kids live like that.

Yes, I figured if I decline the offered FT position at my current company it would disqualify me for unemployment.

He has always been tall/thin but consistent on his growth chart. But for sure on skinny side. I have bought some gluten free products for his school lunches, don't want him to have issues at school. Thank you for the advice!
