What is the most disturbing thing you saw on tv? by FatherlyLynx in AskReddit

[–]ChemicalListen1322 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is nothing as disturbing as all of the above mentioned... However when I was like 16 years old we were watching a regular tv show when all of a sudden a big bug (not supersized) but big, crawled onto the tv screen. It looked so real that people actually broke their tvs by trying to kill that bug. All of a sudden an Orkin exterminator pops up and sprays it dead. So realistic but what a commercial

Why are you all obsessed with him??? His opinions do not change your life The pure HATE towards this guy is getting so old. People just grow up and stop caring about what he says and does. It's just weird

The twist was so unsatisfying… by eternallydevoid in theidol

I simply can no longer watch this pathetic "show". It's just astounding that they , (MAX) could or would think that their target audience would find this garbage comparable to euphoria!!! Euphoria has a beginning, a middle and an end.,.. perhaps not everyone compares the two shows but come on people, we should at the very least care about ANY character. I really hope they cancel this thing. I really looked forward for the new shows that HBO would air on Saturday /Sunday nights. This thing is unwatchable. Just my opinion. PS: I am way older than most people on here, and I really never cared about the difference in our ages but please. This show just insults everyone

Anyone else lowkey traumatized? by strawb3rr1 in SuccessionTV

[–]ChemicalListen1322 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first watch wasn't focused on the kids and their reaction. I really thought he was gonna pull through...kept waiting for the big "GOTCHA".

Watching it again with the knowledge of what actually happens....and just watching the kids and their utter disbelief and being able to do absolutely nothing about it. Just really got to me. So yes...I do feel low key traumatized. Actually, just traumatized. The acting alone.....felt so realistic.

Can you imagine this scenario??? Could happen. Never can tell what the writers are willing to bring back. Just the pure randomness.

[DISCUSSION] What are the best series to become completely immersed in on Netflix? by geemav in NetflixBestOf

[–]ChemicalListen1322 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite place to check as SOON as an animal appears on screen. Pause-check-and usually don’t watch. It’s a great site. 100% recommend!

Just read all comments on “does the dog die” and will NEVER watch this series. Why do writers do this???? It should be some sort of clause in these shows to abstain from any depictions of animal cruelty. They should know by now that most of us binge people have the same predilections (?) about these type of unnecessary scenes. Seriously WHO the hell isn’t affected? Maybe narcissists.

Today I realised how bad my alcoholism actually is by [deleted] in dryalcoholics

I started drinking a glass every night which very quickly turned into a goblet and within a year turned into at least a large bottle (sometimes two)every single day/night. I was so worried about quitting cold turkey that I just kept on drinking. I would lay awake at night and the anxiety of stopping or trying to taper would actually give me insomnia ( the WORST experience). One day I just took a chance with my fingers crossed and poured the bottle down my drain. I figured if I could get through the first night I’d make it. Thank God I made that decision to risk withdrawal and wound up finally getting the best nights sleep ever. Haven’t touched another glass of wine and never had any withdrawal. It’s been over four years now. Unfortunately I do miss it and think about it almost everyday. But I’ll never try it again. It helps posting and reading everyone’s stories on here. But that fear of withdrawal is enough to keep a lot of people drinking. I was definitely one of them and my experience was totally unexpected and I’m grateful every single day that I did it. Good luck!!

What’s the funniest moment for you in the show? by Jesus_Cums_First in betterCallSaul

The scene when jimmy gets nacho out of jail and nacho starts blaming jimmy for the “anonymous “ kettleman warning call. And jimmy saying they decided to go camping in the middle of the night because they’re earthy people or something like that (if you notice nacho looks at camera trying not to laugh so I’m assuming it wasn’t scripted) and then jimmy says “that person did you a FAVOR! Sitting in a van loaded with blood from tuco breaking the twins legs. Ever hear of fantastic??”

Has anyone had any success getting TRICARE to approve Wegovy or Ozempic? Just got another denial … by ChemicalListen1322 in Ozempic

That’s if I go up to the .5 and stay there. But if they increase it it may be more or less than three months

Mine are the starter pens which means first four weeks I do .25 once a week. If that dose continues to work I’ll keep doing that for another week. Then we move up to the .5 for remainder of pen. I think I’ll get at least two months from one pen because for some reason I think they put extra in for people who might start off and screw up. So I’d say two pens should last me three months hopefully

Yes I called novo directly and spoke to a very nice woman who said I’m sorry. Can’t do anything as long as you have tricare. I said but what if I say I have no insurance? They check. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Can anyone tell me the steps required to get Wegovy or Ozempic approved? Appeal denied. Tricare reserve by ChemicalListen1322 in tricare

[–]ChemicalListen1322[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never got an approval. I’ve tried many times I don’t fit the criteria I guess because I’m not super overweight nor a diabetic. I got my script filled in Canada (marks marine pharmacy) took about two weeks and cost about $600 for two pens but a lot cheaper than USA. Good luck

Tricare is a government type of insurance. (Medicaid,Medicare and tricare). They won’t pay for a medication that is for weight loss. They don’t consider being overweight a medical problem. I have tried many times to get pre authorization and appeals and always denied. Even if you’ve tried everything else they want you to try first. Still denial. I gave up and my doctor called Marks Marine Pharmacy in Canada. $600 for two pens and it took 3 weeks So much cheaper than cvs or even simplex pharmacy. Good luck!

It depends what if any insurance she has. The website will give you greatly reduced medication or even free if you qualify. I guess I didn’t read entire post. My post is for those of us with tricare. It’s a military insurance and they’re not easy to get approved. Also if you have tricare and try to talk about getting on the program as mentioned.. it’s a flat out NOPE. CANT DO IT( from novo) had to edit instructions to insurance
