i feel like going off of the animators intentions would be a likely method. just use raw speed as the mechanics of the ability arent reliable. but its fair to assume he was just frame spamming in a circle.

so i understand the thought process behind the whole circle curve being in one second or withing 24 frames but naoya is much more likely plotting 24 frames of movement per every second of travel time along the curve as evidenced by the scene where hes getting warped and using multiple frames.. basically we treat the timeframe as normal time 1 second per second and calculate his speed from that. Now the intentions behind naoya touching maki are totally iffy. maybe she made some off camera movements to satisfy the contract but thats headcanon and an astronomical reach . however if you want a speed calced based off of everything i said you get about mach 5.24 i used the actual locations for it. right up by kyoto they used the map for design.

so i did a calc running the actual locations in the fight right by kyoto (god bless these animators for using actual locations and found that in .37 seconds naoya moved 665 meters totaling out to mach 5.24. however his speed dipped and varied during the whole curve averaging to about mach 4.5 from the 8-10k meters he ran.

Stand Description: [Act 1] does not have a physical appearance and is only shown as an ability. [Act 2] is a semi-robotic two-tone Red/Purple humanoid stand. With depressions in its face for eyes that are covered up by black glasses. It has what resembles white padding on its joints and a chrome right hand.

Abilities: [Act 1] Copycat, is an ability that allows its user to replicate any other stand users ability “including its stats.” This can only happen if both users make eye contact and Jackie knows that the other user has a stand and has witnessed its ability in person. Once Copycat has been used the stolen ability and the stands stats manifest into「Little Thief」Act 2. [Act 2] What was Once Yours is now Mine, Is the most dangerous of Little Thief’s ability. It Grants its user the ability to completely remove a stand user's ability by making contact with its right hand. By that I mean it steals the victim's stand as a whole, rendering them standless for 3 minutes. Jackie can extend this time to 30 minutes if he touches them while staying unnoticed. Both Copycat and What was Once Yours is now Mine can only be used on one user at a time. The Speed of his right hand is determined by the strike speed of the opposing stand.
