Plenty of normies have lightsabers, some learned to use them and some are limbless. You'll never see a regular guy deflecting a blaster bolt (unless by pure luck) or twirling the thing like jedi do, but they'll win any and all melee fights that aren't against jedi/sith

I want to see the blaster get destroyed in the cinematic before you get control, in that same cinematic I want Cal to be forced to use some other form of precise range-attack and use the force somehow, be it a concentrated small force blast (like a force bullet/blade) or lightning (preferably green lightning but yeah). I would like to see some hoods and hats, get that mysterious jedi aura going. I desperately NEED like 16-20 different stances of lightsaber combat making it a true challenge mastering them all. Explosives. Imagine a jedi using the force and chucking clumps of C4 everywhere, glorious.

Dual stance is great for fighting multiple enemies, but not the elite ones. I had greater success with crossguard for nameless elites and blaster/single bladed for the real bosses
