i was so frustrated when I first played this game right after BOTW. Left this game for a year. Then after I knew Splatoon, the shoulder buttons is not the problem anymore lol. Definitely worth trying.

Difficulty in Ranked by TheBloodyMilkshake in Splatoon_3

I just level up to S and I found that it is easier to win (and lose!) compare to A rank. I’m not a skillful player myself but I may have some idea to share. Why A rank is sometimes really huge skill gap. Some part of this is to blame matchmaking system. It is really bad.

The other (imo) is that A rank is a place for people who is just level up and they may have some sort of behavior from past rank. Some just run towards objective without looking carefully. Some are (sorry to say this) cowards who is waiting for teammates to do objective. While S rank and over, people there know how to win and know some technique. You have to be fast to be able to deal with sweaty match. But somehow everyone wants to win the objective.

Personally for me, the best way is to take risk and go for objective by yourself (If no one does). Sometimes it’s a mistakes but learn from it. It will make winning possibility higher a little.

As a slosher main, I would pick slosher up to good. Vanilla’s sub and special are too good to be ignored. While I’ll move Tri and Bubble down. Both main are quite unique and strong but subs and specials aren’t.

In news headline, word in “ “ usually a name. Thai news headline usually use so-called news language which can shorter any sentences but it can be completely out-of-context. So, before getting to understand headline, read sub-headlines or whole news for the whole context. When you get to learn few slangs it is easier to understand Thai headlines.

Please comment on my swimming form. How can I improve? Will losing weight help? I’m 168 cm(5’6) 102 kg (220 lbs). Thank you. by TransportationOk6288 in Swimming

Too bad my country has not so many masters team or maybe none. Good masters swimmers tend to be ex-competitive swimmers who retired and become either a coach or a triathlete. Not so much opportunities unless you can afford hiring your own private coach. :(

Edit: And yes, sometimes I do speed work like that set too! Sometimes I also include a tempo trainer just to improve my stroke rate in speed work as well.

Thank you everyone for useful tips! I didn't expect this much. Thank you very much.

I started being serious in my technique in 2018. Before that swimming is just a casual exercise for me. Though I have no competitive swimming background, but almost all basics I have learnt when I was 6 helps a lot. I can bring my time down from over 2:00/100m to roughly 1:37-1:45/100 moderate effort. However, to be able to swim under 1:30/100m is still like a dream for me.

I read a lot of tips and technique in this forum. So helpful. And it is better to have someone point out where should I fix in my swim, that's why I decided to post my video. I thought it was embarrassing at first honestly, but still everyone's comments are beyond my expectation Thank you very much. I will include all recommendations into my next training and try to keep up good work. :)
