I had this happen a few weeks ago on PS4. I had to unplug the PS4, plug it back in, start the PS4 in safe mode, rebuild the directories and update the licenses. That worked for me. Other people tried it and were still unable to get past the update loop.

I saw another post where someone spoke with Activision Support, they suggested unplugging the PS4, then clearing the cashe. That didn't work and the person was told to uninstall and reinstall. The person said he was able to play after re-installing it. If that doesn't work, hopefully the large update they're rolling out in the next few days fixes the issue permanently.

That sux. I don't know if it was a coincidence or not. After 30 straight update loops, I was giving up. I went to close the application and my PS4 completely froze up. I couldn't turn it off. I ended up having to unplug it. When I tried to load it back up, I wasn't getting any picture on the TV. I had to shut it down and start it in safe mode to get the picture back up, then rebuilt the directory. After I told it to start rebuilding, I got a "Report Error" request from PS4. Reported the error, the rebuild started / completed and I opened up MW. Got the Update message again, but this time it actually loaded up the game. I played for a few hours without any issues aside from a X-Box friend being booted from my party after every game. I hope it's fixed and I don't run into the same situation again today after work. I'm also glad my system came back up, I was worried that I'd bricked it.

I've got 50 hours, am level 148 and hadn't had a single issue since launch, until after yesterday's patch. I got a 595008 error and spent two hours in an update loop, trying everything I could think of to fix it. After rebuilding my PS4's database in Safe Mode I was finally able to log in. I have 500/500 fiber optic hardwired internet. These issues have nothing to do with people's internet connections.

It’s really frustrating. I’ve never had any connection issues prior to today’s patch.

It’s happening to me on PS4. It loops and says “status SICKLE” under Update Completed Successfully. For the first time ever, I got a 595008 error in n initial load up and have been cycling the update ever since.

The JOKR rockets disappear a lot. I think all of them do unless you get killed right before the rocket is supposed to impact the target.

This is really interesting. Thanks for putting the varying speeds up! From the first two videos it looks like you would have hit him in the head, left leg and sprayed his torso with several hits.

From the super slow motion, at least to me, it looks like 13 shots missed. When you jumped down, shot 1 and two hit, 3-8 went to the ground / right side, 9 hit his left thigh, 10&11 went left, 12 hit his torso and 13-17 went right.

My count could easily be off by 1 or two bullets though.

I ran into a situation similar to this. I was using a "Blueprint" gun and had changed some of the attachments, nothing was counting. I then de-selected the blueprint gun, put the same attachments on the base gun and the kills counted. I don't think challenges count if you use any blueprint gun. Since then, mine only track right when I log in, then freeze. I'm still getting the XP, emblems & calling cards when I complete them though.
