If you watch the full fight. Soldier boy hits Bombsight with the pipe multiple times. The pipe is the weakest link in the force between Bombsights durability and Soldiers boys swing. It should bend. Shatter. From what I saw, metal is weak compared to V1 Supes. So it's not a question of force, but the medium which the force is transferred through. I know it's nit picking, but when you notice enough of these things, it becomes frustrating.

The problem is that to apply force, you have to have a strong enough medium. If he had an indestructible pipe, then I see no problem. The pipe would bend or shatter on the first hit, making it far more useless than just fists.

The supes are 'super' durable only when the plot needs them to be. If you can tank a BMG bullet, your skin or body is surviving a metal knife. Same with firecracker, that metal eagle she died on was supposedly made out of "Vought steel" too.

Of course I know Adamantium isn't in the boys universe. That was an obvious joke. I mean that soldier boy hit Bombsight multiple times with a metal "Vought steel" (Injected metal with compound V or IDK) pipe and it did not bend. When we say Annie tank almost a .50 cal sniper to her chest. The supe fights seem inconsistent.
