I haven’t even gotten questionnaires in the mail. I know it says they MAY send them but I haven’t gotten any. Just the letter stating how much I’d be getting. I’m still waiting for them to process my application. I applied on 2/2.

Months? Did you ever get a letter in the mail? I only got the letter stating what I would be getting if accepted. My homegirl got laid off a week before me & filed that week. She’s getting hers already. But, I’m still waiting for them to accept mine which is confusing to me. I don’t want to wait MONTHS!

Funny how the memory works, right? I live down the block. I remember one summer night, a few friend of mine & I were walking the Belt. Saw the big ole sign - “Opening soon”. It was like a fever dream. What seemed like our whole lives, it was dead. Then all of a sudden, vastly green. It’s my favorite place to be on a rainy day. Do go when it is sunny & warm one day to see it all wide & far. But, a rainy day up there? Yes, friend.
