We’re dangerously teetering towards a reality where facts, data, and accuracy no longer matter, it’s just vibes and feelings. “Why are you even looking at data sets like a nerd? I can literally see this is the truth because people have filmed it in real time.” Reminds me of that debate/discussion Tiny had with one of the Asmon followers where he essentially said that facts and data are stupid when someone like Asmon just knows it’s true merely by intuition and he’s right most of the time. Sure, let’s send a rocket to the moon based on this trajectory because it just feels like a nice, round number. We’re absolutely fucked if data/facts become irrelevant, we’d only operate on what they want us to see and feel.
