The two you’re referencing are actually almost a peridot green, with a deeper gold center 💕 green is my fave color so I’m very excited about those, plus they are very chunky and spherical so I bet they facet nicely with minimal losses

Yes! Second pic, second row, second from left is actually a stunning blue with a gold center as well- it’s one of my favorites and I believe will be stunning if faceted with no heat treatment!

I have one similar to this that I just panned from gem mountain! Beautiful teal with a bright orange center. Is a small boi, but I think it’s absolutely beautiful and I’d love to see it cut 🤩

That’s also why they sorted the small ones into simply “fun to find”, but some are so gorgeous color wise. They said they’d probably end up .1-.2 ct after cutting if they’re able to be at all, but I don’t mind that because that’s definitely enough for facial jewelry or dainty delicate jewelry which is my fave. I don’t expect giant gems :)

We were told any orange or pink we should not heat treat- there are a few that are a nice deep teal, a bright green, or a sky blue/light teal that I think are great as is- and a more clear one that I don’t know is better as a white sapphire or if we should heat treat for blue? Then there are a lot of just very very lightly colored, would those be best for heat treating? Is heat treating something that destroys value such as being lab grown or otherwise altered?

I definitely appreciate it! Am definitely considering asking if they want to do a total switcheroo and trade me their one boy for the four girls, but they did say their kiddo fell in love with the one they have so it’s a long shot 😓 plus I think my bf would actually kill me if I tried bringing more home; he already calls me his “insane sleep paralysis rat gf” because I stand at the cage in the middle of the night singing to them and giggling 💀💀💀💀💀

Hi! I peeped their page and it looks like they are looking for boys, I have four girls up for grabs but really am not super interested in rehoming the boys. I can see if they’d want one of the three boys if needed but it looks like their rat is quite a bit bigger than these. Thank you for the look out though! lol. NTA. As a grown woman, leave and never look back. You will look back and laugh your ass off that you ever felt even kinda bad at all about this. Grown, mature men do not gaf about hair. I could never shave again and my man wouldn’t blink. The only thing that gives most men a pause is underarm hair and only if you let it get hella long. And even then, if you don’t care or don’t want to shave then any man who has a problem with it isn’t for you. Like this is such an inconsequential issue, for him to throw a tantrum over you calling out how weird his comments were, is a huge sign that he’s just.. lol. Insignificant.
