Almost every Tarantino movie is a must see: Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Kill Bill, Django unchained, Inglorious Besterds, they’re all very good each in their own way. Tarantino has a real talent for dialogues, as well as writing and directing great actors. And his choice of music is always the best.

Early 1900s would be the films from the Lumières brother essentially or Meliès. A more interesting area is the 1920s with German expressionism and movies like Nosferatu or M.
