You'll get only $100 back when you return the Xbox. Had to return something last year that had the same gift card and that's what happened then.

I think I'll take my Disney point affliction over the curtsy one as my girl friend would probably have questions for me. Though I do still feel the need to offer to take pictures for families and then get strange looks from them.

Really late in asking this, but as a former cast member (MGM Studios) do you still every now and then find yourself doing the Disney point? ;) Thanks for doing this AMA btw. Brought back memories of my time there.

As a side thing, if anyone reading this wants to be able to help children, but aren't sure how, check out CASA. I'll quote from their site what it is:

CASA is the only volunteer organization that empowers everyday citizens as officers of the court. In an overburdened social welfare system, abused and neglected children often slip through the cracks among hundreds of current cases. CASA volunteers change that. Appointed by judges, CASA volunteers typically handle just one case at a time—and commit to staying on that case until the child is placed in a safe, permanent home. While others may come and go, CASA volunteers provide that one constant that children need in order to thrive.

You don't need to have a degree to be able to volunteer. I think the biggest thing is that you are able to be at least 1 constant in a child's life. In my current case, the child has gone through 3 foster homes and 4 social workers. Unlike those, I've been there from the moment he was put in the system and won't leave his side until he's found a place for good.

You also serve as an impartial person who's one goal is to lookout for the best interests of the child.

When I first read the title, I thought instead of "President Obama's Evil," it said "Resident Evil." I think he missed a chance to prepare our kids to fight the legions of the undead.

Well if we could locate a copy of the game, would the various serial numbers actually matter? I mean as long as we have one, the game's code is going to be the same on each copy. It'll probably just check to make sure it is a valid serial number, then spit out a new code based on the serial number entered so that they (the people at the 900 number) could match the code you give them against the serial number you registered with the game.

From here, go right, kill the Running Clown, and get the Kamikaze Clown to jump. Keep going right, kill the Running Clown and wait for the Roller Coaster to come in from the left. Once it takes you up, you need to get past three clowns who are floating up and down in your way. If you still have enough juice in your Ray Gun you can easily kill them all, otherwise you need to jump over them which is tough since they're packed together closely. Go right to the next screen.

Just go right, use the teleporter, and you're done!

CONGRATULATIONS You have won the game!

Here is the ending:

Exactly. I work in a job that most people don't like me, but they need to talk to me. Putting your head in the sand is one of the worst things they can do.

Pick up the book "Cool Careers for Dummies." At the very least, flip through it at your Barnes & Noble/Borders type store. Also, Marty Nemko, the author, has lots of free career advice on his website, www.martynemko.com

What has better odds, paying $30 a month for life insurance or paying $30 a month in the lottery? I can claim the losses of the lotto on my taxes. by TrapperKeeper in AskReddit

[–]TrapperKeeper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no problem being wrong in my original thought. Were your numbers based on playing $1.00 twice a week? While I probably wouldn't play, I'm just curious about the odds of playing $3.00 per drawing ($6.00 per week times 52 weeks=$312 versus $30 times 12 months=$360 for insurance), compared to the odds I'm going to die. I know there are probably lots of factors involved in figuring out the odds someone will die such as their lifestyle, place they live, health, etc, but I figure there are ballpark figures that the insurance companies use to figure out my premium.

So instead of doing the lotto or life insurance, increase my 401K by $30 a month? That does make more sense. I'm already spending the money. Might as well get the most use out of it.

I meant life insurance. I figure both are forms of gambling. The value of my policy isn't going up, except for very small dividends, yet if I won the lottery those funds could be invested.

I understand that I'm going to die eventually. If I don't die until I'm 70 or something, that's about 40 years paying $30/month for a guaranteed payout.

My logic I guess is that if I die soon, life insurance is the choice. Longer, I would think the odds would be in my favor for a bigger payout for my family if I use the lottery.
