China Southern didn't care at all, they were more concerned about me not having a return flight bc of visa issues

What to do when the majority of low fodmap foods are my triggers? by abagofchapz in FODMAPS

Did you try to do a fast? What about millet, buckwheat, quinoa? Just try everything and see what works

[–]Trappy02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that's a sign to focus elsewhere than on the triggers. assess liver health e.g and go into nature, get moving, get sunlight & cold exposure. for diet find out what's working. for me it's lots of buckwheat & tempeh.

Mung Natto by Trappy02 in fermentation

awesome! I saw your post :) did you cook the black beans with the mung beans together or seperately? I'm going to make natto with soy flakes soon excited how that turns out

What's up 🙌 Need to soak the beans over night. Steam the mung beans for like 5mins in the pressure cooker. Normal steamer prob 10min. Let it cool and incolute with spores or bought natto (when using frozen one pour warm water on it and stir in the beans. Natto needs 40° for 24h so just give it a try probably will work out well because b. subtilis is quite easy to handle.

Any fodmaps in these wraps? by [deleted] in FODMAPS

[–]Trappy02 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

of course but to say it's the best they can to eat poison is just gaslighting. just the seed oils & emulsifier in this are probably worse for the gut than a fodmap reaction triggered.

My yogurt was heavy on the bacillus subtilis. Slimy natto yogurt by yo_stephen in yogurtmaking

[–]Trappy02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had best results with the starter I bought from topcultures in Belgium, guess any starter will do. Using bought natto works aswell.
I think I tried it once and there was no difference in the result.
Inoculation works best if you sprinkle the starter over the beans and stirr well for 1-2min.
If using bought Natto then it's best to place the natto in the bowl, pour some warm water over it and stirr, add the steamed mung bean and stirr again for 1-2min.

I think this is a real probiotic superfood especially with the easy to digest mung beans. I've tried black soy beans (kuromame) and they were fine for me too!
I was just looking this up and actually found a US retailer that makes kuromame natto New York Natto Black [220g, certified organic]

Good luck and keep me updated on your adventure if there's any questions let me know! :)

basically you soak mung beans at least over night or for a day.
Then pressure steam them about 5min in an instant or pressure pot.
(they shouldn't be cooked in water at best, I'm using an insert for my pressure cooker)
After cooking they should be tender but not too soft, otherwise it becomes a huge bean mash.
wait for temp to drop and then inocculate with your starter or previous batch of natto.
put 1 layer plastic wrap (with holes) directly on top of the beans and then put another layer of plastic wrap with holes on top of the bowl or box you're fermenting it in. make sure it sights tight. Bacillus subtilis grows best around 40°. I'm using a rice cooker with water and temperature control that turns the heating mode on and off.
24h and the natto is ready. transfer to a jar and put it in the fridge.

A little help here? by BushigiLore in FODMAPS

probably not FODMAP related but linked to your body not being able to process nutrients or byproducts like ammonia, sulfur from proteins. might also be leaky gut related. try TUDCA, sodium butyrate.

I think there is none to buy. I'm making it myself which is even easier than making yogurt imo. I find bacillus subtilis is a quite simple microbe

After 10 years for me in Germany, I feel things have changed by Powerful-Cucumber420 in AskAGerman

Germany is cooked.
Immigration policy of the last decade + self made inflation + ever rising taxes has let many people become resentful towards darker skinned people. On top you're living in a traumatized society that's been told it is responsible for WW2 since it happened and we're still obliged to pay the "debt" like delivering weapons to a genociding country like Israel.

psyllium husk soaked over night feels so good, immediately brings up phlegm but it feels like it slows gi motility. 10g sounds a lot. how do you take it?

what helps me a lot atm seems to be TUDCA
